Along the lines of 'super dieters tea', I once tried the Weight Control vitamins. ( One a day brand, I think) They made me sick to my stomach too! At first I thought my stomach was too empty, but then I started taking them with food, shortily after food-- nothing worked.
So, yeah -- I guess you will lose weight with them, if you are nauseated or puking every day after you take one! Not the way I want to manage my weight though!
I do love tea too. I need to go and restock. I'm not very exotic -- Lipton and Bigelow have enough variety for me!
I can't stand black coffee. I tried drinking it once, because I thought it might help curb my appetite. But there is no way -- I'm not like those people who live on coffee. I need some toast, or oatmeal, or something along those lines in the morning, but you can keep the coffee... YUCK!
But I do like cappuchino, and fancy coffee drinks from coffee bars. And I looooove the smell! MMMMM But if I'm going to drink those fancy coffees, I might as well just have a milkshake!

p.s.-- I really don't think anyone cares about 'hijacked' threads. I have apologized myself for doing that on occasion, and no one seemed to mind. It's like any conversation -- it just evolves. But, now if you're sitting there, and it absolutely drives you nuts when threads don't stay 'on topic', then forgive me for speaking out of turn. Speak up if you don't like it. I don't know if it will change anything, but I think everyone on this board is considerate and cooperative.

Hi All !!
As the person who started this thread, I am absolutely thrilled that the thread has spun around, that to me is the great thing about this forum, everyone gets to add what comes to mind about anything.
I tried the Roobios tea once but couldnt get a taste for it. I usually just stick to decaff tea or coffee and have it with skimmed milk. Its not something I think I could ever give up entirely.
I once went on the somersizing diet, have you guys heard of it? Its a diet made popular by Suzanne Somers. I remember that when I was eating protein, I couldnt have certain carbs which included milk, so I could have coffee but with cream, I found it so disgustingly rich it put me off the diet.
woops now I have gone off topic.
I am staying in a hotel thses next 2 weeks for work and I am finding the food difficult as I dont have my own kitchen. I am so worried I may end up eating too many calories as a result as I am using prepackaged food and trying to avoid restaurants. Any tips anyone?
Thanks everyone
Take care
Be good
