Thumbs up Lasange

I just made a lasange that was delish!

1/2 box whole wheat lasange noodles (I cooked them - you don't have to though)
one bag baby spinach
one container fat free ricotta cheese
one package 2% milk mozerella cheese
one large can hunt light sauce (40 calories a serving)
onions and green bell pepper (chopped, cooked a little till soften but not browned)
mushrooms

preheat oven to 350
pour a little sauce into a baking dish
put spinach in a small food processor and chop it up (add ricotta cheese and mince garlic - and any other spices and combine)
lay a layor of noodles on the sauce
spread ricotta/spinach mixure over noodles
a little more sauce
another layer of noodles
a little more sauce
add all veggies
a litle more sauce
another layer of noodles
a little more sauce
spredded mozerrela cheese
bake for one hour
let sit for a while after cooked - to rest before cutting
enjoy

Question hunt light sauce?

This recipe sounds great- but what is hunt sauce? I have never heard of it. Is it American? Can we get it here in Australia? I would like to know to give the lasagne a go as my family love it! Cheers! Misty

HI Misty - it's just a plain sauce that has 40 claories for a 1/2 cup serving and 0 fat... you could probably find a different sauce that is available for you

This sounds so good! I don't think I would get my family to eat it though! What!!! no MEAT!!!!!
But that's ok. Lasagne is one of my favorites for leftovers. So, I could make it, and have my lunch for a week! Or, I could freeze it into individual servings. I love that there is spinich in it.

Just regular tomato sauce in a can. We can also get cans of spaghetti sauce in America. If you can't find it try regular pasta sauce, just be sure to look at the nutritional information on the back.

Do you think they would eat it if it had ground turkey in it?
