There's a website that I get e-mails from every day about recipes.
www.mealsforyou.com is what it's called and you can search for different things like cookies and desserts that are low in calories and easy to make. For example:
Atchley's Quick Cookies
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 5 min.
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 3/4 cup peanut butter, plain or crunchy
* 1 tsp. vanilla extract
* 2 cups crispy rice cereal
Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Boil 1 minute. Remove pan from heat. Immediately stir in peanut butter and vanilla, then cereal. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. When set, store the cookies in an airtight container. Cookies can be frozen for up to a month.
This recipe serves 24 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 24 only.
