Craving Low Fat Cookies

I soooooooooo want some low fat cookies right now. Although I know even if I did eat them they would have a lot of sugar, which is bad...BAD SUGAR! I don't even remember the last time I sunk my teeth into a delicious cookie..I want one so bad!

How much of a cheat day are you allowed to have?? I am only asking because if I did that; I'd gain 5 pounds. With me; it's all or nothing.

I have an extra 800 calories allotted to me for that day..so as long as I don't go over 2600 calories in that day I don't gain anything. I have been allowed to have cheat days for about 4 months and I haven't gained anything from eating bad on those days.

I just think that's the BEST idea. As long as you don't go completely overboard, and binge or something.
But, knowing that you can have at least SOME of the foods that you love and can't eat regularly anymore, would help you to make better choices for the rest of the week.
Curious though -- when you do have your cheat days, do you feel different? Like, groggier, or any kind of upset stomach?

I don't really get upset stomach or anything like that...I just feel more bloated than usual. As soon as I finish eating, I don't feel like doing anything but sitting for an hour or so until it starts to digest. Eating healthier definately makes you notice those things a lot more. Before I would have thought it was completely natural to feel bloated every time you ate.

I think I can help with this craving....

There's a website that I get e-mails from every day about recipes. www.mealsforyou.com is what it's called and you can search for different things like cookies and desserts that are low in calories and easy to make. For example:
Atchley's Quick Cookies
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 5 min.

* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 3/4 cup peanut butter, plain or crunchy
* 1 tsp. vanilla extract
* 2 cups crispy rice cereal

Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Boil 1 minute. Remove pan from heat. Immediately stir in peanut butter and vanilla, then cereal. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. When set, store the cookies in an airtight container. Cookies can be frozen for up to a month.

This recipe serves 24 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 24 only.

Per serving: calories 88, fat 4.1g, 39% calories from fat, cholesterol 0mg, protein 2.1g, carbohydrates 12.1g, fiber 0.5g, sugar 8.4g, sodium 47mg, diet points 2.5.

This makes enough for 24 but each serving is only 88 calories! So, next time you've got the munchies for cookies, use this to satiate your hunger!

Mmm Cookies!!
The best alternative to getting that sugar fix I have found is using stevia.
It is as sweet as sugar, but doesn't give you the blood spike that sugar, sweet n low, splenda etc gives you, so you don't crash and end up wanting more sugar.

I did a sugar detox in 2004, no sugar in any way, shape or form for two weeks, for the first 3 days I was shaking like a crack addict! After that I didn't even want sugar anymore.
Now of course, I'm all re-toxed up and a sugar junkie agian
