Cinnamon/Ginger Grapefruit Smoothie
This is really simple to make!
Ingredients:
1 Grapefruit
1/2 cup of ice
1/2 to 1 cup water or juice of your choice
1 pinch of ginger or cinnamon
1 or 2 tablespoons of splenda
Appliances:
1 blender or magic bullet
Instructions:
Peel the grapefruit and cut it in half or into quarters, whichever will fit best into the blender/magic bullet. Now put the grapefruit pieces into the blender first, then the ice, the water/juice. Blend until smooth. Add the splenda and cinnamon/ginger and blend until fully mixed. Add a straw and enjoy this sweet and kinda tangy snack!
OR you can garnish with low fat whipped cream and a small piece of the peel and make it dessert!
