Hrm, maybe I can help. I'll give it a try anyways. First you click on the above link to the google map. Once there, you click on "Your Entry" a button on the top right. It will load some empty boxes on the left of the map. Then I suggest clicking on the map where you want it to center. (IE click on it close to your state) then zoom in. You can zoom in by dragging the white bar between the + and - signs, on the ruler-like scale on the left. If you have trouble with that, just left click once on either the plus or minus signs to zoom in or out respectively. Then all you have to do is click on the map with your mouse and it will enter lattitue and longitude coordinates in the boxe automatically. If you are zooming in to the wrong place, zoom out and recenter now that you can see more detail and keep zooming in until you are satisfied that you have put your marker close to your town. Once correct coordinates have been entered by you clicking on the map, all that is left for you to do is fill in whatever you want people to read when they click on your marker.
