Weight Loss Goals:
My first semester of college, I weighed in at 168 pounds. I'm only five foot five. I was devastated that I had let myself get so big. I dieted, exercised, ate low carb and reduced calorie foods, and I got down to 143 pounds in just two months. I was so proud of myself! But during college I battled depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (both of which I take medication to help manage), and compulsive overeating. I used food as comfort when I felt bad, and in turn I gained a ton of weight, which only made me feel worse. I went to the doctor today (September 11th, 2007) to get my prescription rewritten, and I weighed in at 244 pounds. I look and feel disgusting. I want to get myself down to 130 pounds, and I will be happy. Since I got down to 143 before, I know that I can meet this goal with support and encouragement, and even scolding when I break my vow.
