Well its the beginning of a new month and my very first weight in. My weight as of today was 278.1. 6.9 lb loss in a week. For me thats great Ive been able to stick with everything only go over on cals 2 times, been doing my exercises, between everything I havent been bored which is great because that is what happened all the other times. I cant wait to see a loss in my measurments. I think this motivates me a bit more to keep on, and see what happens next week lol. Kinda like a soap opera.

Well I made the mistake of going grocery shopping with hubby today. Was just going to get things to make supper with. THAT didnt happen. Im so proud I have gone this last week with no sweets at all. Now there are some in the house. In a way its ok because I need to teach myself that having something sweet sometimes is ok, and even if the temptation is there I dont have to eat any. Did good on exercise and cals today. Im still under but Im not hungry and I dont want to stuff myself. I did by the new spray on italian dressing for salads. I LOVE it. Im afraid to try the other kinds, never tried them before. I wish they made something like that in ranch or bleu cheese. I havent worked in 2 days because of the heat. I hope tomorrow is cooler so I can actually go to work. This staying at home is driving me nuts. I feel so lazy even though I have done my exercising and eating right. Just no ambition. Oh well tomorrow is another day

Congratulations on the weight loss. keep it up. It is ok to have sweet stuff around if you have the willpower to stay away from them. I've had a snickers in the fridge for over a week

I always feel proud of myself, when we have goodies in the house, and I'm able to resist them. If I lived alone, I would probably clear the house of them, but I have a husband and 3 kids. So there's lots of stuff around that I shouldn't eat. I do try to limit it though -- cuz it's not good for anyone-- and have it be a treat, rather than a staple, and try to keep more healthful options around,, It's all out there --- temptations everywhere -- so if you learn to resist and control your intake of these things, you've won quite a battle!

Well today started out that I was going to give myself a free day. Hubby is a little aggrivated that everything has been changed so much in the last week. He seems to think that I kind of moved into everything too fast. I did go over on my cals but I did my exercising and hubby and I went for a walk after supper, I dont understand why Im huffing and puffing and sweating like a pig in my treadmill but I can walk a mile with hubby in 30 minutes and not be out of breath. I feel kind of icky about the cals, but I think that if I wouldnt haven eaten some things today that I had the cravings for, the cravings would have been there tomorrow, now I can just go on tomorrow as a normal day, with my normal cals and exercise. Today was also another day with no work, (hot and raining). Im beginning to think I didnt make a good decision in April when I quit my csr job to work at the stand. I make AWESOME money when Im working, but making nothing when Im not working. Tomorrow is a new day hopefully Im working, Im not even tempted for the food when Im there, staying home is a different story

Is it just me? Why does it seem like he is aggravated with almost everything you do?

Cravings will go away eventually if you just dont give in. Pretty soon your body will crave the new things you are feeding it; like fruits and veggies. It wont be easy; but it is doable. If not, everything in moderation.

Glad to hear you got your cardio in. Especially with yucky weather.

Joy don't let anyone, even those you love disuade you from this path you are on. Would he rather you be in your grave at 40 from diabetes / heart failure or whatever else goes with an unhealthy lifestyle?
