kay... i missed 2 work outs this week. =( i'm a bad girl.

i would have normally done them thursday, friday and if need be make up for one on saturday.

however on thursday i had to go get my health card in the a.m. (had to do it because they had to check the results of my t.b. test which is a timely thing) and then worked a full shift thursday night. so didn't work out that day.

friday i ended up working a 11.5 hour shift (i'm going to KILL the girl who was late!) because of unforseen circumstances.

today, i was supposed to work another 12 hour shift because of someone not wanting to come to work. thankfully at the last moment another girl stepped in and covered the morning part of the shift for me and i will be taking the night part (8 hours). this meant i went back to bed and CRASHED HARD. so i'm skipping working out today.

tomorrow might be better. i only have to put in half a day because the same girl who refuses to come in today needs her shift covered again. (what is it with people? i swear! )

so.. i'm bad as far as work outs... but hopefully my paycheck will love me.

and get this. as soon as i hung up the phone, finding i didn't have to work this a.m., another office in our business called me wanting to know if i could work tomorrow for them because someone wasn't showing. unfortunately it's the same hours as i'm doing tomorrow at my office, so i can't, but i just found it funny.

wow, it sounds like you have been under quite a bit of stress lately at your job. Hopefully things will calm down for you soon and you will be able to regain some control over your days. Hang in there, just don't give up on yourself.

went in on sunday and did my arm work out. =) felt good afterwards. so i'll count that as 4 days last week and start over with my monday (today) after work. man... i hope i'm not screwing up my weight loss by my wierd schedule lately.

thankfully my boss has hired on 2 or three ladies that start this week into the department that i had to be cross trained into because of being short handed. hopefully they will pick up the slack. it's just been so crazy lately. my husband doesn't believe i ever come home anymore (jokingly). i'm either working or working out... he doesn't get it. (and i still can't get him to go to the gym with me )

I'm sorry to hear that your hubby isn't being very supportive to you through all of this. It's not fair that you have to go it alone. You always have us to talk to though if you ever need a motivation boost. I'm glad to hear that they hired some more people to help you out with the stressful workload. It might take some of the weight off your shoulders so you can relax. Good job getting a workout in, I bet it felt great!

Keep stress low and get enough sleep and food. Otherwise your weight loss may slow down. I think your hubby will change his tune when other men start checking you out. Nothing gets a guy to notice you when he thinks he has "competition."

Wow!!! --- Bad day???? Take a deep breath--- stop and think. Why do you want it? Are you really hungry? Are you upset about something?
Deal with what's really bothering you, and if you still really want some ice cream, have some. Have a normal serving size, but don't try to numb yourself with food.
PMS? I'd say the same -- have some, but don't let the pms monster take control.
Just really hungry? You know better -- eat something healthy -- take your time, and see if you still want that ice cream.
Do NOT give in to emotional eating! You're stronger than that!!!!!!!!

Nah, ok day.... granted I had to stay late, because my boss didn't realize she didn't have anyone scheduled from 4:30 - 6:00, but that's pretty predictable lately. Didn't end up working out cuz i was like F- it. I don't feel like it. I'm putting in a lot of hours lately (11.73 hours of over time over the last two weeks), I'll make up for it tomorrow (today).

Mostly, it's just cuz I'm craving it and I really, really want it... however I'm trying not to get it because I know how much it will ruin my diet. Thankfully I haven't had an ice cream binge attack in a long time, so if I decide to get it I won't feel AS bad.

There is nothing wrong with allowing yourself to cheat on your diet once in awhile, it's actually recommended so you don't eventually give up and binge all the time. I am allowed one cheat day a week, where I have an extra 800 calories to go over if I want to. Usually we order a pizza and some garlic bread..or we get some chocolate bars etc...I do this every week and I have never gained any weight from doing it...just have to distrubute your calories during the week and allow yourself 800-1000 extra on one day.

dood.. why does my weight have to fluctuate so much? i weighed myself last tuesday and i was 150. i weighed myself yesterday and let's just say I was a lot less (but i'm not counting that weight until tomorrow's weigh in). now granted, i had my period last week and i understand that may have to do with it.... but the differance was 4 - 5 lbs. that's a LOT! jeez.... my body's wierd.
