Saying hello to tomorrow.
I joined Weight Watchers on August 10, 2006. Best desicion of my life. I was at my highest weight (that I know of) at 205.8lbs. I have never really had a problem with my body because I am so used to the way it is having extra baggage my whole life. But I am ready for a new me. I am ready to whip myself into the body I know is hiding under all this padding.
I am also a type 1 diabetic, have been since I was 12, so for me this is more than just looking good in a bikini, it'a about being around for tomorrow. Although I have never had any complications from it as of yet I don't want that to change. Until recently my numbers have been nearly perfect at all times but are increasingly going up which means more insulin which means more needles which means a not very happy me. So here's to bringing this all under control!!!
My first week following the Flex Points program I lost 3.8lbs!!! So now I am at 202lbs. I'm hoping this Thursday will show I am out of the 200's. Then it will be 70lbs to go....
I have always been a very active person so for me it is all about the food. I don't know when to stop, I can't determine when I am full. I work out almost everyday at the gym for 1-2 hours or outside if the weather permits. My goal weight is 130lbs. At this point I don't even know what it would be like to have a small figure... I'm excited to find out!

Thank you so much Carol! I'm glad too!
Looks like I am working a double shift today... I usually work fri-tues nights from 9pm-5am.... but someone called in sick. That means I'll be here until 1pm... no gym for me today I'll need the sleep in my 8 hours off before coming back in.

My body is weird...sometimes I lose 2-3 pounds a week and other times I stay the same weight. I managed to lose a total of 12+ pounds the month of July..so I guess that would really average to about 3 pounds a week or so...I don't think I am going to lose as much this month though because I am only down about 4 pounds or so from the beginning of August...I still have 2 weeks to go though, so we'll see.

Sounds like you are doing it the healthy practical way, something you can stick to for the rest of your life!
Thank you for the welcome Carrie!

I'm almost off work, then it's off to the gym!!! I love that my gym is open 24 hours during the week... it makes the weekend tough (It's open 8-8) when I can't go right after work. It's when I have the most energy and it helps me sleep.
I did way better last week with making good food choices, this week not so much. But I still think I lost... only Thursday morning will tell. I don't have a scale at home which is probably for the best, I would be weighing way too much! I over ate yesterday becasue of the double shift, I was super tired and me being tired = eating bad things! Today was different though. I had a lot more control.
I wish my trainer would come back. I miss him so much.
I shall post my work out when I get home!
...AND I'M HOME!!!
August 22 - Tuesday's Workout
Cross Trainer: 45min.
Treadmill: 30min.
Abs: 20min.

hey, I just wanted to say that I really like your user pic, you are very pretty. Sounds like you had an awesome workout last night as well. What happened to your trainer or where is he? I know how you feel about missing him, haha. I love my trainer too, he's the best.
