Week 1, Day Two
I have to drink my last bottle of water soon. No worries. Getting the water in is definitely easier some days than others. Today is one of those not so bad days. I didn't get a chance to swim today. The pool was closed. It wasn't worth it to travel to another pool, too much time out of my work day. So next week it is for swimming. I did walk with my team today for 30 minutes. Still making good food choices. Very proud of myself right now. I am still having difficulty with "it" (read scale) being back in here but I haven't been on it since my last weigh in. I weigh in on Labor Day. We will see what "it" says then.

Now that is willpower. I see a scale and I have to jump on it. Experts cant agree how many times to weigh in during the week. Do what works for you. Only you know what is best for you.

Week 1, Day Three
I am drinking my last bottle of water for the day right now. I forgot my pedometer at home today so my steps will be extremely low because I didn't put it on until about 5:30 pm, oh well. I did pilates about 45 minutes ago. I had forgotten that I planned to exercise everyday beginning this week (Monday-Sunday for contest purposes) but because I remembered today I didn't mess up. Sept 6-10 I will be away at a conference in Connecticut so I am concerned about my food choices. There seems to be nothing around this hotel. I do plan to bring breakfast and snacks because there is a refridge and microwave. Maybe I can see if there is a nearby grocery store and do some shopping. Who knows, the hotel choices may not be that bad. They do feed a few times at the conference and maybe there will be good choices there too. We shall see. I am not worried about exercise because there is a fitness room, pool, and a vcr in the room (I wonder if they have not updated the website and it is a dvd player. Whatever I will bring both). So I am good to go with that. I guess I will be drinking faucet water (read dirt). I guess I will survive.

Week 1, Day 4
You know the drill...I am drinking my last bottle of water as I type. Personal training was great as usual. I will miss it next week. The plan is to still exercise everyday. There's the pool, fitness room, and I will take extras. Maybe the dynabands because I haven't tried them yet. The only problem with that is sometimes I have difficulty trying to exercise from pictures. I have a million Fitness Mags so I may try to get a routine out of them for the fitness room but again the pictures thing. A good food day. Me and the girls had a working lunch today. We went to this place called Robeks. Billed as a healthy eats place. They have salads, wraps, smoothies, energy bars, chips, cookies. The chips and cookies are not bad for you. The cookies are actually vegan. The texture is a little different but I love them. They are huge so half is a serving.

A vegan cookie? I am intrigued. What flavor was it and what is in it? Wish we had a place like that around here.
I dont know how you even have room for food with all the water you chug everyday. I am blown away by that. How do you choke it all down??? I already spend too much time in the bathroom and I dont drink half that!!
How goes team training? When is the contest over?

I had the turkey cranberry wrap this past time and the first time maybe chicken pesto. The wraps are huge. One thing if you are not big on lettuce you may ask for them not to put it in. I did because they put in too much for my taste. Well I bought two cookies. The peanut butter one is gone but I still have the oatmeal raisin: unbleached flour, evaporated cane juice, oatmeal, raisins, cinnamon, soy margarine, isolated soy protein, pure vanilla extract, corn syrup, non-aluminum baking soda, salt.
The contest ends on November 18th. Final weigh ins take place on Novemeber 28th and 29th. Everything is still going pretty well. Everyone on the team seems to be doing their part.
