Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. The personal training is going really well. I think he's figured out how to challenge me but not cross the line. I feel that this will be life changing.

Day Four
Whew...I didn't finish the water until 8:30. Messing with my bf. I figured today if I go anywhere with him I should take two bottles of water. Everything always takes longer than he says it will. I have gotten into the habit of taking 1-2 snacks. I better do the same with water. Still feeling pretty good. I think when I will start seeing some difficulty is when I start exercising everday on the 27th. But one day at a time. Grocery shopping went well despite the fact that I couldn't get veggie burgers like I wanted. That's the problem with shopping those bulk stores you are not guaranteed that an item you bought last week or even yesterday will be there again. A good food day.

I think it's a good idea for you to take some water and snacks along to wherever you are going. My boyfriend and I got into that habit as well, because we never know how long we are going to be out and we like to eat every 2 hours or so.

Day Five (yesterday)
I was wiped out. Between being a stressful day at work and personal training I was tired. Another good day though. The water is definately becoming easier to drink. I knew this would happen because in the past I have been a huge water drinker. I didn't finish until about 10pm last night which is fine. My trainer is starting to include more cardio interpersed during our time which ups the ante for me. My endurance is crap. I signed up for 8 more sessions. The promotion is over because I thought I would pay for 8 and get 10. Oh well. Next time I will try and buy 16 and they said they would give me 3 free for 19 total. Sounds good to me. I think the competition aspect really helps me. I am out to help my team but I am trying to win an individual prize too in addition to just getting healthier.

Day Six
Okay I may have drank 7 bottles of water today. I couldn't keep track with so much to do at work. One extra is even better. Everyone is officially weighed in and measured as of today for my team. Let the games begin. The response to this contest has been more than the county expected. They only had 2 days to do the measurements and now that had to add extra days. Who knew right? I guess they didn't. I struggled a little today but I did not give in. That's why I am on the computer now to help distract myself once I finish I will force myself to go to sleep. Easier said then done.

Day Seven (yesterday)
I finished only 5 water bottles. I feel asleep early and didn't wake up until 1:45am. That was a blessing because I so wanted to eat more food than I needed to yesterday. I think its because most days I am only eating 3 meals as opposed to my 3 meals and 3 snacks. I need to work on that. Time really does get away from me.

Day Eight
Good day overall. Great workout. He always varies it. Thank goodness he does because we all know that I get bored. Today he broke out the boxing gloves. I liked that. I got the welcome pack from the contest. Nice. I got a backpack that would be good for the gym, pedometer, bottle of water, health pamphlets, toothbrush, chapstick, and a dynaband with an exercise guide. As time progresses I am getting more excited about the contest. The response has been so huge that they are scheduling measurements on a date past the actual start of the test. I think they underestimated people's involvement. The prizes are great and it is cheap. It is $40 for participation and they take it out increments of $6.67. Who can't afford that? Finished all my water for today. All this going to the bathroom is getting on my nerves but I will survive.

That's a pretty good deal they have going and for that amount, you're right? Who wouldn't participate. I also think it's great that they gave you that pack, there's a lot of great things that they gave you! Congrats on doing better with your water and chugging it all back!

Day Nine
It was a struggle to get all of the water in today, but I did. I just finished my last bottle a few minutes ago. I know, I know I will be up a million times to go to the bathroom. Oh well. All of this water makes me feel SO bloated. Let me rephrase that...makes me feel like I am about to explode. It's only been a little over a week. I'm sure my body will get used to it soon. Food wise a good day also. Tomorrow I will be going to the county fair and I will try to remember to wear my pedometer.

Day Ten (yesterday)

I got all of my water in by 8:30pm so that was good. I had some funnel cake and peanut butter fudge from the fair. This was my first time indulging since the contest began so I am okay with that. I bought some butters, 4 different types for my toast, and a butterfly necklace. A good day overall. Had a girls day with mom. We did the fair and now I am at her house. My step father is out of town so that's why we were able to do the girls' day. We plan to walk later on this morning. I will probably weigh myself later on this morning. I have determined that the scale is accurate so we will see how it goes.

Okay so I needed something to jumpstart my weight loss but goodness. I am down to 206!!!!! I weighed really heavy the morning of the contest because my food the night before got truly out of hand and I had done a few "last suppers" over a few weeks. When I do mostly everything right my body does know how to act. What's so sad is I am trying to justify losing that amount of weight in such a short time when I should just be happy. But I do know it's because I have been doing personal training 2x/wkly for 3 weeks, I have been drinking tons of water, eating well, and swimming once per week. This is the type of boost that I needed. When I was doing Weight Watchers I did lose 7 pounds in one week so I know my body is capable of doing this. YEAH!!I need to keep up the good work. Oh yeah, I tested the scale a couple times with weights to make sure it was accurate. I am so excited. Onederland here I come. I also know that the weight will not always fall off this easily but what a great start.
