I've heard of that movie but I haven't seen it. I can not claim "onederland" as my own. I stole it from another forum that I used to visit. I thought it was a great play on words so now I use it.

Exercise is still nonexistent. It has gotten pretty bad. Me and my mom were going to the gym on Thursday and I called her and said lets walk instead. Then she got to my place and I said never mind I'm not doing anything. She walked on my treadmill. She loves my treadmill so much that she went online and purchased herself one. Now she will have an elliptical and treadmill from Proform. We are both picky but we like Proform. Tomorrow is a new week and I will try again. To be honest I am just bored with exercising. In a few weeks I start my swim lessons with my co-worker so swimming laps will eventually become a part of my routine. Hopefully that will get me excited. Seeing as I don't even want to go to the gym I will hold off on the trainer at this point. I am still debating on getting the Urban Rebounder. I recently saw a piece on the news about the Urban Rebounder. The consumer reporter always does this segment called "Does it Really Do That?" She always tackles the infomercials and the answer to the question is generally "NO" 99% of the time. So they buy the product for an individual that wants to try it and they go back and ask the the question "Does it Really Do That?". The woman that tried out the Urban Rebounder stated a big "YES". What I liked about it was the woman definately weighed over 200 pounds and they showed her on the rebounder and it supported her weight to the point that there didn't even seem to be a dent in the trampoline. I found out that the rebounder has different levels meaning it can be raised and lowered and I always knew that there are a million dvds. I think the workouts are short like 15-20 minutes. It looks like fun. I will make the decision in the next week or so. I have so much equipment and dvds and I don't want my apartment to be the exercise graveyard so that's why I'm iffy about what I will do. But I am thinking it may get me off my ... !!!

Okay, I did it. I ordered the Urban Rebounder. I should have it in a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to it. It looks like a lot of fun so I hope I don't get bored too quick. I also start my swimming lessons on Tuesday. I haven't decided if I want to do it 1 or 2 times a week. So I am getting back on the exercise band wagon. I guess I just needed a break.

Yesterday I went to my friends wedding party (she eloped a couple months ago) and did pretty well with the food. I drank 2 bottles of water, 1 piece of cake, 1 piece of baked chicken with barbecue sauce and 1 corn muffin. Oh yeah and I had some honey roasted peanuts later. She had other things on the menu I just chose not to eat them.

Whew, I went swimming for the first time today. It was eye opening. Becky, my co-worker, did a great job being patient with me. I am so sore too. I will be back at it on Friday. I hope my body will be ready. I did better than I thought I would but I still have a ways to go. Food wise, I'm messing up again. I have to take it one day at a time. If I maintain that is better than gaining but I would love it if I did lose. I weigh in on Tuesday so we will see how that goes. I am getting excited about the Urban Rebounder and can't wait until it gets here. It will be something new to do.

Just wondering how the Urban Rebounder works and how long it takes to get to you? Sounds like you had a good time swimming today.

I have seen the Rebounder on the occasional infomercial. Looks like fun. And you dont have to crank up the tv volume in the process. Ideal for apartment living (unless there is somebody under your floor).

How was the swimming? I hear that it is really good for you. Too bad I am too ashamed to be caught dead in a suit. Are you doing laps or resistance exercises? Well if you are sore today; you know you tested new muscles and got a great workout. Keep it up and have fun. Good friends are priceless. Especially the ones who are patient.

Have a good one!

I didn't order the Urban Rebounder from the infomercial or website I ordered it from the Brylane catalog. I don't know if you are familiar with them. They have received my order and they usually have a quick turnaround so I am thinking next week or the week after maybe. I live on the 4th floor and I am not worried about noise. I have a treadmill too. Swimming, I am working on relearning the basics then I plan on developing some type of routine. I may do some type of combination of resistance exercises and laps.

I didn't swim on Friday after all. Becky said she wasn't ready for me, she hadn't developed the plan yet. Which was fine since my body had just fully recovered on Thursday. So I will swim again on Tuesday. I have gained weight and am hoping to get back to 211.5 by weigh in. If not, I will not change my ticker because I know it is temporary. I just go back and forth back and forth. Such a waste of time. To be so close to onederland and acting this way...I truly believe I am guilty of sabotaging myself...is ridiculous (sp?). As usual I need to get up, brush myself off, and get back on the wagon. If losing weight was so easy we wouldn't all be here.

Today I found out about personal training rates at Bally's....whew. I need to start weighing my options. I also found out that one of the locations I like to go to has a pool (its in the basement where the locker rooms are. I never use the locker rooms) and they are trying to start up aqua aerobics. YEAH!! I am excited about that.

Okay, I decided that I am going to do small group personal training at Bally's. It is more affordable and I know I can afford it on a long term basis. There is a demo this Thursday that I want to sign up for. My mom always tells me to buy yourself a bday present and go big. So I will purchase personal training sessions as a bday present to myself.
