Dont feel bad about feeling junky after being in the sun. The heat still affects you even when you are long out of it. I remember when I was working in a bakery years ago. I was thaught that if you put a tray of cookies in the convection oven; they always had to come out a few minutes earlier than normal because cookies continue to "bake" after they are cooling. So I guess it isnt any stretch of the imagination that the sun considers our bodies like cookies and continues to "bake" them even after we go inside. (I feel like an oatmeal raisin cookie today!) I agree that until the humidity subsides that cardio is best done inside...Unless you are doing it in the early morning or late at night. Why risk passing out, or feeling like a slug the rest of the day? You still can have a successful workout under a roof. Just ask Jillian or any other fitness guru.

I doubt you ate as much as you think you did. I know that on days that I am "off" from the gym I feel like I am constantly eating. I am sure you are doing fine. I am thinking the 170's are a good goal for you to shoot for. Keep up the great work and you will make it there!

Well, I cleaned up the basement again today. The kids do it, but they just never quite do the job that I would like, so I still have to go down, and do it myself every month or so. I always involves moving the furniture -- that's the best way to really get everything clean.
It almost sounds like a work out, but it's really not. We have hardwood floors down there, and every thing just slides so easily ---- no effort at all!
Well, anyway, it sure looks nice down there, and as always, the kids just LOVE to be down there, after I've given it the once over. They always like it down there -- that's where they play their videos, and watch movies, but they definitly like it better clean. It is hard to keep up, because there are so many other kids who come over. They eat popcorn, drink pop, and have a great time. That's fine-- that's why we finished off the space in the first place -- I just wish they would be a little better about picking up. They'll do it, if I tell them, but otherwise, they just leave things all over the place. Yuck!
I've been really hungry all day. I started out well, drinkng plenty of water, but have been drinking diet soda this afternoon -- 2 cans! Burp!!!
And, I've felt kind of 'blah' all day. I'm not sure why. I had a couple of sleepless nights last week, and maybe I'm still recovering.
I'm hoping to get some kind of workout in, while watching tv tonight. I just know I'll feel better if I get moving. I need to shake off this tired feeling. I think it might be the heat too. I'd really love to go out for a walk, or bike ride, but it's just nasty outside. I do NOT LIKE being housebound!!!
