Today, was a little tougher getting out of bed to go walking and by the time I did it was 80 degrees and too humid. So, I went to the gym for a walk on the treadmill and ended up in a kick boxing class. I felt so much better when it was over.

It is 345 am and I cannot sleep. I want to eat, so I am going to journal instead. I hope it works.
My plans for today include a walk early in the morning, as the YMCA is closed today. It's not supposed to be as humid today with highs in the low 80's. I am going to have cereal and fruit for breakfast.
My family is going to have a picnic lunch at 1:00, so I plan on eating in moderation. I am going to have small portions of my favorite foods. I cannot pass up mom's homemade potato salad or cake. I need to try and drink more water and less soda. I am going to try and focus on the company and stay away from the food table.
Later in the afternoon, my husband and I are going downtown to watch the fireworks. We have a celebration and festival by the river. Dinner will be on the go. I think if I stick with a burger and corn on the cob, minus the dipped in butter, I should be ok. We will have to park our car farther away, so we will get more walking in.
It really helps me to kind of go through my day and tentatively plan out my day

Kickboxing sounds like a ton of fun. I wish I had somewhere to hang a punching bag in my apartment. Who needs food when you can beat up something to make you feel better; not to mention buring calories is a plus. Have fun today with the family!

I am proud of myself! I lost another 2 pounds. Taking a few minutes and getting a game plan for the day has helped greatly. I think of the challenges that are ahead for the day, and I think being aware also helps. I did not walk the past two days, so its back to the gym tomorrow after work.

Today, I am going to have cereal and banana for breakfast, leftover spaghetti and a salad for lunch. I am going to go walking after work. Then, for supper I am not sure yet. Maybe a subway sub or salad? I should just make something at home- stir fry?

I have had a rough weekend. I ate red velvet cake on Saturday and carrot cake today along with a bag of chips, a candy bar, taco salad from taco bell and a caramel sundae from Mc Donalds.
