Thanks Francine.

I didn't go to Water Kickboxing today but I will do Pilates before the day is up. I am not feeling too well. Besides I am tired. One of my programs, Special Olympics, went to Richmond,VA for the state games this weekend and several of the participants were having difficulty so I was on the phone throughout the night last night talking with my staff. That can be emotionally draining. Things worked out well and they are currently on their way back. They won alot of medals too. So that's good. We also had summer training yesterday 1/2 day and I did a lot of walking and standing. TIRED, TIRED, and more TIRED.

I am in the process of trying to decide what exercise equipment I will buy myself for my birthday. I may go simple and buy the urban rebounder or go big and buy an elliptical. I currently have an elliptical but it is an old version and it is terrible on my knees. So I am thinking of buying one from Proform because I bought my treadmill from them and I love it. I am also contemplating paying for a personal trainer for my b-day. I will see. It's not until July so I have some time. I think I may buy myself the urban rebounder once I get into "onderland" and pay for the personal trainer for my b-day. I know, I know...I am so back and forth. What I am dreading is trying to find out the cost of a personal trainer through Bally's because then they will hound me. Well that's why I have caller id. I may do that today.

I think the idea of getting the personal trainer is awesome! I have one and I can honestly say I have done a lot better than I would have done on my own. They can be expensive, but I definately think it's worth it to get your life back.

I wish that I could afford to get an elliptical or a treadmill as well, although I don't think I'd look into getting one until we have our own house...it would be a pain to get the machine up 3 flights of stairs to our apartment.

Oh what I wouldnt do for my own eliptical trainer and treadmill. If I ever win the lottery...
Good luck with the personal trainer idea. I am sure they can think of a zillion and one ways to pump up a workout. I am sure after the Biggest Loser; people everywhere wanted to have their own trainer. Keep us posted on your progress!

Missy,
I am lucky enough to have an elevator in my building because I live on the 4th floor. They only deliver door to door on the gorund level so I borrowed a dolly and my boyfriend helped me but it was still a little hard.

Carrie,
The only way I was able to afford this treadmill is that I bought it direct from the manufacturer (sp?) and made monthly payments. So initially I put out about $200 to include the first payment, delivery, and warranty. After that I paid $69/month because my treadmill was $699. Take a look at www.proform.com. I know a lot of people like to go in and try theirs out but I was okay with purchasing it over the website. You can always call them and ask questions. I am really picky and I am so satisfied. My mom bought her elliptical from them and she is very satisfied and she is worse than me when it comes to pickiness.

Well off to another wedding. I am flying out tomorrow with my mom & dad to my brother's wedding in Illnois. I survived the last one eating pretty well and I think I will do okay with this one. I will not be able to weigh until I get back on Sunday. That's fine. I tend to do better when I am not chained to the scale. I still need to squeeze in two more days of exercising. I will figure it out.

Thanks Missy. I forgot that my parents have Taebo vhs tapes and dvds so I will be doing the original Taebo Basic this morning. Only one more day of exercise to figure out. It's supposed to be beautiful weather in IL so maybe we, me & my mom, can find a local park to walk in and that will be my 5th day. I packed exercise clothes so I am good to go. The town we are going to is really small so the hotel doesn't even have a fitness room. We do have access to a gym through an agreement with the hotel so that might be an option also. I think it might be the only gym in town so we might not count on that one because it could be crowded

I am back in town and struggling. I came back to alot of trainings to conduct and just not enough time in the work day. Most times taking days off from work makes me wish I didn't when I come back to all the things I need to do...oh well that is life. I think I did okay with food at the wedding. I just forgot to weigh yesterday and did not remember until a few minutes ago for today. I will officially weigh in tomorrow and change my tracker. I may have maintained but we shall see. I have got to get back into my exercise routine. I am drained at the end of the day yet it is nearly midnight and I am on this computer. I know, I know it makes no sense...
