i think the military wives 'special edition' was my least favorite. A couple of those women just weren't very likable, I guess. Lots of whining -- lots of excuses. But some really did make some great strides. I really liked that they had the one lady on who had had a gastic bypass. I think far too many people thing that is the easy answer, and they need to know that it isn't. It's a major procedure, and you still have to eat right and exercise in order to maintain. I think a lot of people think that once you have this operation, then you'll never be able to over eat again. But it's not true. I think if your stomach adjusts and stretches to accomodate the food you're consuming.
Well, anyway -- can't wait till the new season starts. I really wish it was this summer. I have more time to watch tv, and hate to have to resort to Big Brother.

The contest runs until 26th of this month. I doubt I will be the winner since my 3 kilo (6.6lbs) loss isn't that much compared to some of the others. But I still feel like a winner anyway.
Had the day off yesterday and of course it rained here so no beach again I spent the day repotting some of my plants, Playing "Star Wars Empire at War" on my pc and I watched the British Grand Prix.
Today I kicked off with my weights day 1 workout. Some of these new exercises are difficult but I do all the reps on the list. I'm thinking about getting a rowing machine or cross trainer at home so I can do say 1 hour cardio at night and 1hour weights at the gym in the mornings.
BTW I asked Don Ross who he played for and it was the Chicago Bulls.
Have a good week all and don't forget to update your journals

Hi all. Sorry for not being in touch the last 2 days. I've been a bit off colour. Monday afternoon I started to feel sick and by the end of the day I was feeling terrible. I took myself off to the drop in clinic near me and I've been prescribed some antibiotics. Tuesday and Wednesday were a complete washout unfortunatly but I'm back on it today. I did a cardio workout this morning. 20 mins cross trainer, 20 mins bike (both with 5 mins cooldown after). and 3 x 15 stomach crunches, with my legs in the air too which really hurts.

Hey, just take it easy, you don't want to over-do it especially if you're not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you've been sick Phil. Missy's right -- ease back into things. I don't know what you had, but a lot of things like to come right back, if you don't take it easy enough.
Speaking of baby names -- oh, we weren't? Well, I'm going to now. I met a baby today named Jury. Uh huh. Jury. Ok then, I said, so when he fills his diaper, it's called Jury dootie? Get it?? ha ha!! Who says a pun is the least sophistacated form of humor!
Ok , ok -- I'd never make it on last comic standing. But what an odd name! Sounds like a soap opera name ( Storm, Ridge, Thorne, Carpet, Committee, Table, and Garage) -- Ok, I made a few of those last ones up, but you know what I mean!

Hi all. Back into it again today. Did a weights workout but I'm feeling a bit weaker than before I got ill. Nothing serious just a tummy bug that the antibiotics seems to be shifting well.
Carol are you serious? a baby named Jury??? WTF are people on? Mind you it does show a bit of imagination that seems to be lacking elsewhere. I remember in the late 80's the name Kylie was quite popular in the UK, because of Kylie Minogue, These days its Alicia, after the baby of an underage girl in eastenders (a piss poor soap from the UK).
I won't tell what we've decided on but we both like very British sounding names. We did try to come up with some Maltese names but there really aren't any. Maltese names come from either the UK or Italy and a few from France.
This is no word of a lie, when I was younger we got a horse and I wanted to call it bridge, well I was 7 at the time, we called it cracker
No Parent craft classes tomorrow so I get to stay in bed. Woo Hoo
