Thanks Susie,
That would be awesome to win, but if I don't - I figure I will still be a winner because I will be about 60 pounds lighter and a lot fitter... that would be an awesome prize.
But wouldn't it be cool to go to the BL finale?

Nicky, where I come from it rains almost all the time. Get yourself a nice coat and boots on and have a splash about while you walk

Thanks Philip, that's a thought. I don't mind walking in the rain during non work hours (actually I love it), but during my work day I need to make sure I stay dry

Still on track. Exercised with Bob and the rest of the BL group this monring. Just walked to the restroom and boy my thighs are burning.
I can't wait until 3:30. I am so ready for this workweek to be over. Gotta bring Buddy to the vet after work for his yearly shots and registration. He's not gonna like that.
Going to our usually restaurant for dinner tonight.... not looking forward to it cause I know there's not a lot on the menu for me to choose from. Tom really wants baked fish so that's why we are going there. I will probably end up getting baked fish although I'm not a big fan. Guess I'll make a few requests and I'm even going to bring my own salad dressing if Tom doesn't say he'll be totally embarrased if I do.
have a great day everyone!

Hi Nicky,

How was da fish?? You are my hero. I cant force myself to eat fish. It is the one thing I cant choke down. (Even if it was chocolate covered!) Never be ashamed to ask for your food the way you want it. People do it all the time. My whole family does it. How did the salad dressing go? I think it is a great idea to bring your own. A lot of times restaurants only have one "dieter friendly" choice. If you bring your own, then at least you know you will like what you get, and have the calorie content as well. I was at a restaurant in Maine with my parents recently and they had an awesome Raspberry Vinigrette. The old me never would have piped up. But I asked and found out what it was. Servers are usually more than happy to accomodate a request or a question. Turns out I can get this dressing in my grocery store. (Ken's Raspberry Almond Vinigrette). The lite version. If your hubby gets bent out of shape; then just remind him that every small change you make will eventually add up to a big change. Think about the guy who collected an entire truckload of pennies. Sure, alone they arent worth much; but together they can really add up to a tidy sum. I am sure that guy was laughing all the way to the bank! And soon you will be too!

11 pounds in one week! AHHHH! I am still dizzy from that one. Keep it up!
Is Buddy still "speaking" to you after the shots??

I think that's such a great idea taking your own salad dressing along! That way you know exactly what's in it! Good for you!

Carrie,

Let's see - I opted to not get fish Friday night cause I am just not a big fan. I decided to try their mesquite grilled chicken salad. It was delish!! I forgot my dressing at home so I used the low cal ranch they had and just dipped my fork in it.
Buddy actually didn't speak to me much this wek LOL. Seriously - he was really pouty just like a kid. He was better yesterday though
