So this morning I went to the gym today and did some cardio. I spent an hour on the elliptical again..interval level 8 and I burned around 800 calories again...

then, I decided to go on the treadmill for 35 min and I burned another 200 calories...

so in total today I burned around 1000 calories!!! I was so proud of myself.

I went to my doctor's appt today too...it was a colposcopy? (sp?)...it felt so uncomfortable and I even got to watch the procedure on a tv screen...it was weird to see my own cervix. Kinda icky too. I told them about the pains I had been having on my left side last week and they said they couldn't help me!! They told me that anything they found during my exam today would have nothing to do with the other pains...and she told me that, that was the hospitals cop out for not dealing with my problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR

Now I don't know what the hell to do, or where to go to get someone to help me. That's why I have always HATED doctors and the health system. They do absolutely NOTHING.

Work is pressing me about documentation as to why I was off...and they want to get in contact with my doctors..but now I'm terrified I am going to be fired because I have no proof they found anything wrong! I have proof that I seen a doctor about it and that I went to the emerg at the hospital...but other than that I have nothing!

Sorry guys, I am so incredibly mad right now and I needed to vent.

So went and did my cardio again this morning. I did an hour on the elliptical-interval level 10!!! I thought I'd try it and I did it! I even burned off 843 calories today! I kept my heart rate around 150 again...man am I sweaty and stinky now. I need a shower.

I am going to the doctor again today...to complain about the same problem. I am going to ask if they can refer me somewhere to get x-rays or something done.

I am also taking my car in to the shop tomorrow. I have been having some problems with my brakes lately so I'm getting them checked out. The back tires lock when I brake...and then thump when I release the brake pedal. You can really smell them too if I make a sudden stop...they get really hot. Hopefully it doesn't cost me too much $$$

Missy,
Hopefully your doctor will refer you someplace that can help. It's not right that you have to keep complaining about the same thing yet they say nothing's wrong.
Hope your car doesn't cost too much. I blew a tire out a couple weeks ago and ended up putting on 4 new tires and aligning the front and the back. Wish the weather was more relyable - I'd just walk everywhere

As far as your work... I would think just the doctor/er visit info would be enough "proof". It actually doesn't matter if they didn't find anything wrong with you cause it is not your employer's business. If you run into problems, if you have a human resource department I would talk to them.

K, so I am less mad right now. I went to the doctor again today and they had a BETTER doctor on staff today. He prescribed me some anti-inflammatory pills and scheduled me in for an Ultrasound (for my bladder, uterus and ovaries). It's not until the end of May though, that's was the first appt they had available to me. The doctor actually told me it was probably my ovary...at least he narrowed it down and scheduled some tests for me!

When I was at the University Hospital last week they did bloodwork and a urine test. They didn't find anything wrong with those results. My blood pressure was normal, my heart was normal, my temperature was normal.

I feel some relief knowing they are doing something for me now..I just hope it's going to determine what's wrong cuz I am sick of the run around.

I have to fill out a bunch of forms for work (I was off all last week cuz of the pain)..and I need the doctor to sign them...the doctor today told me to bring the forms to HIM when he's in...so I have to go in on Monday night to see him.

The good news is, I talked to my team manager at work and he said that my time off would not count against me (because I am still on my probationary period)..they just need the forms.

All is good.

Its good to hear you are finally getting somewhere with this medical problem. A doctor who cares about people is often what is needed to find the problem.

I'm also happy to hear you are ok at work too. Thats will probably halve the stress this is causing you.

Yup...so I went and worked out with my trainer today. My choice. We did legs today...leg press (250 lbs), leg squats machine (90 lbs), calf raises (100 lbs), leg extension (100 lbs), and lunges.

I did 1/2 an hour of cardio and burned around 300 calories as well.

I ate really bad today...we went to Kelsey's for supper. It's my bf Matt's birthday today..he turned 24 so we went out to eat. I had a Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad, and some Bruschetta and a Strawberry Marguirita. It was very delicious. I think I will use today as my cheat day and eat healthy on Sunday (when it's supposed to be my cheat day)

Cajun Caesar salad <perk> sounds yummy! I am a Caesar addict! Minus the whole Toga thing...

You are kicking some serious butt in the gym. So I am guessing that you got the OK to start working out again. Are you in fact feeling better? I hope so. I am sorry that you ended up with an ER doc who had a pogo stick stuck where the light dont shine. (I should probably delete that comment)...Some people are just not ment to be in any position that deals with customer service. I see it all the time.

How is the new Furball of Terror doing these days? Still entertaining you as before?

Keep up the butt kicking! It will pay off in the end. That is what I have to keep telling myself. Cant wait to see your before and after shots. I admire your dedication to your new lifestyle.

I am feeling so financially exhausted right now. I don't know how anyone can afford a house or kids or anything! I don't even know how people afford to get married and throw a wedding! I am very depressed about money lately. I don't make enough...I know everyone says that...it just feels like I am never going to get ahead in life and it's frustrating!

Anyone know some ideas for quick cash?

I wish I had a yard, I'd sell a bunch of my old clothes and things I don't need/use anymore...but we can't sell things on public property (I live in an apartment)...

Hi Missy, you could eBay a few things to make some quick cash. Do you keep a track of your income / outgoings? I use a simple spreadsheet to keep track of what I've paid, what is still to be paid and how much money is in the bank.
