I love swimming as a nice gentle exercise routine. Your trainer is giving good advice. If you have pulled or strained something a workout can make it a lot worse.

I'm surprised it takes so long to see a doctor, isn't there a drop in clinic or something similar you could go to?

Finally don't let the numbers upset you too much. I'm sure your BF thinks you are beautiful and you will get a great figure doing what you are doing, even though something has got in the way this week (the pain) it won't last for ever.

Yes, I have already went to a walk-in clinic a week ago and they told me nothing was wrong....that same day the pain got worse so I went into the Emergency at the Hospital..they told me the same thing. I was mad because I shouldn't be in so much pain over nothing...I told them I had an appointment scheduled already to examine things "down there"...so those other doctors told me to wait until my appt this week to see if they find anything.

Take care of yourself Missy.
Don't worry about what anyone says is the 'perfect form'. What makes people beautiful is their uniqueness.
Look at Hollywood. It seems to me like everyone is trying to look alike. First, you emaciate yourself, then you get big fake boobies, then you use botox, so you can't have any facial expression, then you pump butt fat into your lips so it looks like you've been punched in the mouth... Bleh.... how stupid.
You're taking care of yourself -- you're getting healthier. You were beautiful 30-something pounds ago -- you're beautiful now, and you'll be beautiful whatever you weigh.
You're also a big help and inspriration to everyone who posts here. Hourgl**** schmourglass -- who needs it?

Got up at 9:30am today and had breakfast. Today I had 1/2 a banana, 3 pieces of low fat cheese and 2 pieces of whole grain whole wheat toast.

I already got my workout in for today...I went swimming at the gym. I was in the pool for a total of an hour and 1/2. It felt so good..so nice and relaxing. There wasn't many other people in the pool, so I had lots of space. When I put on my bathing suit this morning, I looked in the mirror and could notice a huge difference from when I used to swim 6 months ago. I guess that's because I'm almost 40 pounds lighter!

It's snack time now and I'm going to have a low fat Apple Cinnamon muffin, a huge glass of water, a chicken stick (like a pepperette) and some cheese.

I have more things I need to get done today. We are taking our new kitten to the vet, just for a check up. She had an eye infection before we got her and it looks like it's coming back, so we need to pick up some drops. Then we need to get her some development formula kitty food.

It's beautiful outside today, so I think I'll get my bf to go out for a walk with me later tonight..maybe after supper so we can work off those calories.

Hi Missy. Glad you enjoyed your swimming. I hope the appointment is more constructive than your visit to the clinic. I can't even imagine what you must be going through. My thoughts are with you and I pray it is nothing serious.

I am exhausted and it feels good! I went to the gym this morning to do just my cardio. I did an hour on the elliptical...using the interval program at level 8. I burned off a total of 801 calories! WOOT! I kept my heart rate up around 150 the whole time so I could burn tons more.

I am all sweaty and gross now, I bet I smell fantastic! I'm gonna shower and then possibly go out for a long walk. The sun is shining and it's warm out, I may as well enjoy the day.

You are doing great there Missy. When I do the elliptical cross trainer (20 mins) sweat is literally pouring off of me. I go through 1/2 a litre of water during my workout. Hope you keep your fluids up too.
