May Journal

I struggled so much last month I am hoping to do better this month. My official monthly weigh in is tomorrow. I already know that I gained 4 pounds and lost those and may have lost an additional pound or two on top of that. Still progress. Every month or day can not be perfect. What's different this time is that in the past I would have given up by now. I am really proud of myself and that I am working through this struggle. I am really trying to determine if I will continue with my 21 day exercise challenges. Trying to do the challenge exercise in addition to the exercises I am already doing is tough. I may do weight loss challenges instead. I have signed up for some on the 3FatChicks website that I am a member of...I am not sure yet. If so I will do those in the Weightloss thread beginning in June.

I updated my signature today. So I lost the 4 pounds I gained and lost an additional 1.5 pounds. I am very satisfied with that. TOM is here also so...I will weigh in again on May 14th because of a Mother's Day Challenge I am doing. That goal is to lose 6 pounds so I have 4.5 to go.

I had a really good day food wise today. Really busy one too. I find if I plan really well I still do the right things. I have an extremely busy day tomorrow so with pre-planning I will do well again. I feel this will be a good month, 1 day at a time.

Thanks everyone for the support. I am really doing well right now despite being busy and tired most days. I went to my Water Kickboxing class today and enjoyed it as usual. I have decided that my yoga challenge this month will be the last 21 day challenge. Its just too much. When I've lost weight in the past I have tried to do too much and burned myself out and I am fearing that will happen again with the challenges. I will stop while I am doing well. I am working out 5 days a week and on top of that doing the yoga challenge so...

Food wise I am getting more fruits, veggies, and dairy into my diet and I am extremely happy about that. As usual I am struggling with water but I will continue to work on it.

Water kickboxing sounds like fun. I used to do those Billy Blanks kickboxing videos, but I imagine doing them in water is even more challenging! Good for you!
