just turkey breast meat this week. strips, and minced (ground).
Today have been to the beach for my swim but it is still way too cold in the sea to stay in for long so i managed about 10 mins, (about 16 laps of the pool on average). Have done a long walk for about 1 hour along the sea front to compensate for the lack of swimming. summer is definaty back. see the photo taken on my walk this afternoon at. http://mifsit.fotopic.net/p27826125.html
Food wise a healthy ish omlette for breakfast, fruit salad at the beach (a real bargain at LM1 or approx $3 US). Then evening meal of onions, peppers and chilli sauteed in a hot pan with a few squirts of spray light. all mixed together with cous cous. not bad even though i do say so myself.

my own worst enemy
there's no trigger i can find but i get into a circle of depression and self loathing. i don't know why but i just pigged out and now i feel really bad. this has happened before. its like something goes off in my head and i'm eating. I'm going to be beating myself up about this for a while now.

Hello!
The thing to consider about binge eating is that you always get a second chance. Tomorrow is another chance to start over again fresh. One day of bingeing isnt going to erase every good decision you have made so far. And if you are already feeling badly, avoid the scale. 1) It will make you feel worse 2) It wont be an accurate reading. To regain an actual "fat" pound, you have to chow 3500 cals in a day. I doubt you did. So pick yourself up, forgive yourself and start over again tomorrow!
Best of luck!

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Indeed today is another day and another 50 laps done of the pool.
I think the worst part is feeling disappointed in myself for my lack of self discipline. I feel I should be better than this.
I've stocked up on fizzy water this week so if I feel a binge coming on i'll drink a pint and see how i feel. Not sure about the ironing bit though as there's never any around to do. My wife is really good at keeping the house together. Not that I can't iron (i had plenty of practice as a bachelor) but since I work and my wife is not allowed to (work permits for non maltese you see) she keeps the house.
Some good news though. The BL special editions will be on here from wednesday night (living TV from 9pm UK time) so I can ge my fix :-)

Maybe talk to your wife about the ironing and ask if she would mind if you left some. I don't think there is a housewife out there that would really mind being able to have one less thing to do and having a little time for herself.

I'll certainly mention it to my wife but to be perfectly honest she has trouble filling the time here as it is. She reads a book every 2 days, voluteers at the animal rescue centre, is a member of the american international womens group...... All change in August though when Baby 1 arrives.
