Vegetable curry? Can you come cook at my house? Seriously, that sounds fantastic. I love curry.

Sorry about that comfort food list. We all have had one of those. Now you should make a list of 10 reasons why you're not going to eat for comfort!

Glad you found us, Helena! It's hard to move, although I'm sure much harder for you, since you are in a different country! There is always that period of adjustment, figuring out how everything works in that particular area.
I started posting here, thinking my journal would probably be something I did just for myself -- and it is, but I'm impressed at how many people actually take the time to read other's journals, and comment on them. There's always an encouraging word, or someone who knows exactly how you feel. It really helps to know you aren't alone in this, and that everyone has their ups and downs.
A chef, huh.... got any good recipes to share?

I used to be in the Army too. I come from an Army family, when I was in, so was my brother and my dad. My parents used to be stationed at Ktown in Germany, where are you at?

I have always found something great that I normally wouldnt have found when looking for something else. I think this site is a great little island to have in the middle of the busy internet highway. Who cares how we all landed here, but that we are still here! We have slowly become our own (LOST) family. We are always there for each other and occasionally we have to battle the big, bad, ugly food monster, and evil numbers. (Luckily ours arent on a hatch.) I am still looking for Sawyer on our forum boards though....
Good luck with your weight loss quest!

I'm glad you found the site. The site has helped me a lot since I joined back in February. The people here are so friendly and always offering advice and motivation.

I think since I joined I have been pushing myself more, just so I can post my results on here and wow people. *LOL*

I am really sorry if i have put you off hotdogs now but i was actually quite mortified!!!
All in all i have had a great weekend i feel energised and ready to start exercising. YIPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
