Talking Widdlecuddles Week 2

Today begins week 2 of the BL Challenge. Food wise last week was good. The only exercise I did was walking, which isn't a bad thing, but I need to step it up a little.
Stepped on the scale this morning for my official weigh-in and for week one... I lost 11 pounds!!!!!
I think one thing that is really helping me is I am being diligent about writing down exactly what I eat.
Hubby is doing well too!! For his 1st week back on weight watchers he lost 16.5 pounds!!!
And the good thing for me is - after one week I am still excited about this!

This really makes me miss the show. I loved seeing those dramatic results. I dont' expect results like that for myself, but it's very motivating and inspiring to hear about and see others being so successful.

What kind of intake did you have to loss 11 lbs in one week?

I following the plan in the Biggest Loser diet book.
Breakfast
1/2 protein
1 whole grain
1 fruit

Snack
1/2 protein
1 Fruit

Lunch
1 Protein
1/2 Whole Grain
1 Vegetable

Snack
1/2 Protein
1 Fruit

Dinner
1/2 Protein
1/2 Whole Grain
2 Vegetables

and used 200 extra calories per day for usually fat free sugar free pudding and cool whip free or a weight watchers ice cream bar or some kind of desert at night.

At my weight the book says I should eat 2100 calories. I couldn't eat that much food. Most days I was around 1600.
I didn't have a calorie book until the end of the week, but I did sit down and figure out my calories for all week after I bought it.

I am going to up my exercise this week so I will also add some calories.

Today's Thursday and finally the first day I got up early enough to do a full exercise routine and not have the rush to get ready for work. It's hard doing exercises by myself cause I don't push myself enough.
Walking lunges are going to be the death of me I think LOL
Still on track for the food part. I am really happy about that. they are having a bake sale here at work today and I purposely didn't bring any money so I wouldn't be tempted.
Wish it wasn't raining out. would love to go out and walk for lunch.... but if I was walking I couldn't sday hi to you all HI!!!
