Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Take lots of vitamins to help fight off that cold.

Nicky-I hope you get to feel better soon!!

Hey, at least you've lost some weight, I agree it's not the greatest way to lose but you might as well get something good out of it. That's kind of how I jump started my weight loss, I was real sick and then had some personal problems and I lost like 7 lbs in a week so I figured I might as well keep going.

Anyways, hang in there and get better soon. We miss you!!

Everyone is finally starting to feel better in our household. With being sick we have been eating terrible (cause the only things that sound good to eat are the things we shouldn't be eating). My sickness "comfort food" is McDonald's french fries... the only thing that ever sounds good to be when sick.
Plus with being sick for almost 2 weeks neither of us felt like cooking so we would get carryout everynight I gained back the few pounds I had lost plus a couple.
None it's time to get back on track. Unfortunately for me I don't think there is any way possible I will fit in my dress for Easter now
Hope everyone else is doing well... I can't wait til life slows down a little bit now so I can get on here and read and catch up
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

Glad to have you back. Hope you are feeling better now. Being sick stinks. About being able to fit into your Easter dress....I doubt you have that much to lose before it fits. I dont want to get your hopes up, but I bet if you really go at it (diet and exercise) together, I know you can get into that dress. I have seen strange things happen concerning my own figure when I really go at it. I might not lose numbers, but the inches go down and my shape changes completely. Stick like glue to your diet, and dont forget the fat blasting cardio. I know you can do this. What is your favorite activity? Do that, and take it up a notch. (Walk a little faster, increase the incline on the treadmill, add a few minutes more etc.) Shock your system and that will keep your metabolism guessing and burning. Slug down water and not soda. It will fill you up and not cause bloat. And if you drink enough water, even the thought of french fries will make you shudder. Hang your dress by the phone or your main snacking area. Just seeing it will remind you of your mission, and restore your will power. The time to start is now. Keep us posted on your progress.
