Hi
Hope you are feeling better. What kind of pizza place do you work in? I mean is it a chain or a small business? Just curious...I am (well was) a Pizza Addict. One day I am going to found "Pizza-holics Anonymous."
I dont know you or your man, but that was a horrific thing to have said. I unfortunatly know how it feels though. But I was only being called "Shamu" because I was being annoying and pushing for something that the timing wasnt right for. Since I have gotten on the bandwagon, and quit whining, the comments have pretty much stopped, and/or turned to compliments. I am not going to say that you were right or wrong to kick him out because that is your business. You have to do what is right for you. As long as you are happy, the rest doesnt matter.
I would worry about exercising being tough at this stage. If you keep at it, your endurance will build little by little. If you saw the first few episodes of BL Seasons 1 and 2, everyone was dying out there. Be proud that you made the committment to do anything at all. In time it will all come together. And dont sell yourself short, you are stronger than you think! Just give your body the chance to prove it!!
Have a great weekend!

Happy monday everyone! Well, the weekend was...... interesting for lack of a better word. I did the wedding saturday, then drove to connecticut on saturday night to see my so called family. things have been so tense since my cousin Jon died, it'll be 3 years. But I get there and everyone is just sitting there stuffing their faces. not one of them has a weight issue at all, they're all like twigs, but they offered me some food which I had to turn down (ew-- bad bad bad choices) and they just look at me. Then my gramma says, "Ooh, somebody must be on a diet." I'm like, "yeah, well..." So I visited for a few, loaded my kids up and drove to the hotel where I slept, then drove back home wondering why I ever chose to go to begin with. But big fun. I stayed on my diet, exercised and chased my kids all over the city. So, back to the daily grind.

Amber, once again I am sorry about your cousin. But when referring to your so-called family remember this...You went there to honor his memory, not to be their punching bag. You held your head high, did what you set out to do, and left a better person. It takes a hell of a lot to turn down food. Especially "bad" food. Keep this up and next year when you return and they are still sitting around stuffing their faces, and you walk in looking fine, they will choke on their hors douvres (sp). Some people and things will never change, but you will. Always remember that. You cant change them, but you can change you...Be the best "you" that you can be. Somebody once told me that I should be the best person I can be, and now I am closing in on "that girl." Keep up the good work!

Sorry to hear the family wasn't very supportive of your diet. I'm proud of you for not eating unhealthy and for sticking with your goals. Good for you!

It's really difficult when people around you aren't supportive - I hope that you find the support that you need here on these boards. Take care and keep up the good work.

Hi guys, I'm sorry I haven't been on the boards for awhile. I'm really glad you all are supporting me: it seems like it's just one thing after another right now, but I honestly feel like things will be looking up for me soon. I have slid off my diet this past week, not by choice though, really. Actually, I haven't been eating much at all. Last Thursday night, I was in a car accident (like I said, one thing after another right now) but not to worry-- I'm OK!!! I suffered a mild concussion and my left arm is basically, um, shattered. I had 4 pins put in and I was just released from the hospital this morning. Drunk drivers ought to be punished more than just losing their license for a year and getting a big fine. I have to go to court and face him on Wednesday. So though I can still diet, exercising is out of the question for a minute. How are you guys all doing
????? I've missed talking to y'all. I hope you guys are doing great and sticking with it, because I know y'all can do it!! Lots of love and luck from Ohio!! Hopefully I can be back here more often, typing is kind of slow right now. But anyone who lives in Ohio-- supposed to be in the 60's all this week!! WOO HOO!!!!!

Hi Amber!
Wow, a car accident! Dont get me started on drunks. If I were a judge, one DUI and you lose your license for 10 years. These jerks that have racked up 17+ should never been given the chance to be repeat offenders. Says a lot about our judicial system. Fry the sucker!
Sorry to hear about your arm. Is all exercise forbidden or can you work out your lower half? Take it easy until you get the ok.
We have missed you on the boards. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.
