Thank you for your post, Jules - don't apologise, I love travel aswell and love hearing about other people's travel experiences. It sounds as though you have had some fantastic experiences! I would love to have travelled that much and seen that many countries.
I personally would love to see more of the U.S. - so far, I've only been to Orlando and New York - I'd love to see the East Coast / California and the Mid-west - loads of places really!!

Journal update for today.
My weightloss week starts with my weigh in on a Saturday morning so I count any exercise and food intake from Saturday afternoon - Friday night. This week so far I have been to the gym twice - a 70 minute workout on Saturday afternoon after WeightWatchers, and an aerobics class on Monday evening. I plan to go once more on Friday morning as I am off work that day. I've also been trying to keep as active as I can in my daily life - walking around the office more than usual this week and adding more walking in to my trip to and from work each day and I'm feeling quite active and motivated this week.
As I lost 3lbs last week, and I am quite close to goal, I think I will have to be really determined and motivated this week to lose weight again this time. I feel I might stay the same on Saturday's weigh in but I really want to lose - even if its only 0.5lb to keep me on track.
I'm eating lots of fresh fruit and veggies this week and the only 'treats' I have had have been fat-free yoghurts - no diet chocolate bars or anything like that at all - just snacking on fruit. I'm hoping this 'back to basics' approach will keep my weight loss on an even keel. I'm also drinking loads of water and keeping my portions sensible.

Hello,
I should have known it was a Bachelorette Party. I guess people can speak the same language and still get confused!! Glad to hear that you are doing so well. I hope to be there soon. It doesnt matter where you started the journey, but that you made the journey at all.
Any plans to visit the states? I would love to have our own Biggest Loser Blow out when everyone gets to their goal weight. What fat free yogurts are you eating? I love Lit N Lively, Yoplait, and Giant Eagle (generic store brand).

I would love to come over to the States again sometime soon. DH and I went to Orlando, Florida for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and we loved every minute of it. I've also been to New York state once with a business trip and really enjoyed it. DH and I both love America and would love to spend more time there - we're hoping to have a holiday over there either at the end of this year or next sometime if we can.

Good luck at your weigh-in this weekend! I'm sure your back to nature approach is going to help you. It's so uch better to just eat natural foods than substitues for old foods you liked. now if only chocolate were a fruit or vegetable.. (J/K!)
Congrats on your progress, you are so close to your goal and that is fantastic! You're going to do so great in that marathon.
Ps. I've never been to New York. It's funny because I think nearly everyone who has been to the states from outside it has been there. But not me, yet anyhow.

I knew if I looked hard enough, I could find a reason to eat chocolate!! It may never be part of the food pyramid, but we can dream cant we?
They are now claiming that chocolate MAY lower blood pressure. I had an article on Yahoo about this, but the link has expired.
I am sure the owners of Hershey and Toblerone are in seventh heaven after that study came out!

Thank you for all of your lovely comments everyone and I'm sorry I haven't updated on here for a while - it's lovely to check back here and see so many kind and supportive comments!
After my 3lb loss the other week, I lost a further 1lb last week which I was happy with. I'd like to lose 1 - 1.5lbs this week and I have been concentrating on eating a lot of fresh fruit and veggies this week - adding in more 'no point' veggies to my lunchtimes like cherry tomatoes and carrots that I would not have eaten before. I have really cut down on the WW snack bars and chocolates and I find my taste for them really is reduced now!
I was happy today when I was in the supermarket and found a cup-a-soup that was just 0.5 WW points so that was great (most of them are 1 point!) and it's quite a filling soup - chicken noodle soup - so its great for lunchtimes.
I love herbal teas these days and its great for getting my water intake up. This week I've been drinking a lot of nettle tea, green tea and my favourite - camomile and spiced apple - yummy!
I've been to the gym twice so far this week - on Saturday morning and then my aerobics class on Tuesday. For the first time in a few weeks, I've really felt achy after working out so I think I must be working harder! I'm going to the gym tonight again - I like to make it 3 times a week if I can.

Welcome back Fiona!
Amen for soup! It is really filling and satisfying, especially on a cold day. WOW 1/2 a point? How many calories a serving? I have learned to really like cherry tomatoes. I am also a huge fan of cucumbers and green peppers on salads. I also heard olives are good for you too, but watch the fat content. Congrats on the weight loss. Keep up the great work and dont be a stranger here! We like hearing from you.
