Elizabeth - No...the video I have is Fat Burner - it has lots of lunges...you would definitely know if it was the one. I was wondering - how long do you exercise in a day? 30min - 60min??? I like that she uses the same basic moves in all of the videos, too. Makes it easier.

2/26/06

I am posting what I did yesterday...2/26/06

Woke up @ 9am (it was so nice sleeping in)
Ate breakfast @ 10am (husband made me eggs - whites only - he added a tiny bit of salsa and cheese to them...they were really good - I also had 2 pieces of toast with skim milk)
Cleaned house and started laundry right after breakfast.
Worked out @ 11am (W&K video - 30minutes)
Showered immediately after
Went to my parent's house for their 40th wedding anniversary celebration. My siblings and I had gotten together and had our pictures taken - first time ever - well, other than when we were little. I had a lot of fun - lots of laughs. It was funny b/c when we ate lunch everyone was like "Is that on your diet plan?" I told them that I pretty much just watch my calories - I don't keep myself from eating what I want - they were all very supportive of me.
Ate lunch @ 1:45 (3 slices of pizza & water)
I turned down cake - it had strawberry icing on it - I did good though!
I drank water through the entire day - I didn't want the extra calories....turned down fruit pop. Grape/Strawberry/Orange pop would have been a weakness but actually turned out to be very easy to turn away.
We got home @ 6:15pm - put dinner in the oven...We had Sesame Orange Asian Food. It didn't taste too good.
I entered all my food into fitday and my calories were within it's range. So proud of myself for this day. Lots of temptations but did very good! Oh...I snacked on some chocolate covered raisins...not many though.

I hope that all of you are doing well. Keep it up!

Hi Patty-I was wondering how're you doing with the lunges? There are lunges on the Biggest Loser workout and they absolutely kill me!! I do ok on the front lunges when you put your leg forward but on the back lunges when you lung back are so hard!! I cannot keep my balance and I'm so wobbly.

I'm afraid if I did a lunge I'd throw my back out and wouldn't be able to get back up.

Hi Susie! I worked out to the Fat Burner video again this morning...did pretty good. My legs didn't hurt so bad this time...felt the burn but didn't hurt as bad as the first time. The lunges I like to do are when you spread your legs out and go down...the ones I do not like are the ones with a leg in front and one leg in back - then go down...those kill me. I am wobbly, too...it is frustrating to do them but I just remind myself why I am doing it...it gets me through the entire workout.

My day yesterday...

I am getting bad with coming in here each day and posting...hubby complains when I sit down to the computer.

I will give an update on how yesterday was - it was a horrible day. Hubby and I fought most of the day and I didn't follow my diet to well. I was really upset with myself last night so when I watched The Bachelor I did a bunch of leg lifts.

I worked out yesterday morning @ 8:30.
I can't remember if I ate breakfast.
I ate lunch @ Sonic - I had a Grilled Chicken Wrap, 5 onion rings, and a large Sprite.
I burned some calories by washing the windows in my car and cleaning the interior...I hate it when you send your car to the shop and you get it back all dirty - I will be calling them b/c they left a grease stain on my carpet. Urgh...the nerve of people!
I also burned some calories by going to the park with my little one...we played on the swings and played on the slides. I actually went down the slides...it was so fun! My little one was so happy that I was able to play with her.
My husband grilled turkey burgers, potatoes, bbq beans...it was delicious. I put my burger in romaine lettuce, two thin slices of tomatoes, and miracle whip. The potatoes were delicious.

My down fall yesterday was that when I snacked on chocolate covered raisins I had more than 35...there are only 130 calories in 35 pieces. I realized that I ate b/c I was angry.

I feel better about myself already today. I have worked out this morning and had two oranges. I will be eating salad for my lunch and plan to eat bbq chicken tonight.

I'm outta here for now...need to go get my hair trimmed and get some stuff for the house. I'll try to get back in tonight.

Hi Patty Ann,

Sorry about the stain on your carpet. I try and vaccum my own, that way if I am not satisfied, it is my own fault, plus it is cheaper and I can burn a few calories. How is the new kitten adjusting? Bet the kids love her. I bet your daughter was so excited you could play with her. I think you probably made her day. Glad to hear all is going well. But when do you have time for YOU??? Now that I think about it, the haircut was probably all the YOU time that you have time for!!

Carrie...I do not have much time for myself. Even when I exercise I have to deal with the others - McKenna likes to try to workout with me, too. It is so cute. The kitten did NOT adjust - I got rid of the kitten already. She was extremely mean...I didn't need a mean kitten with my kids. I was pretty upset last night b/c the man had to have known she was a mean kitten - he knew that I was taking it home to little kids. I would not give a mean kitten to a family with small children...no way. The thing with the carpet was that we had to take our car to the shop - the mechanics stepped into my car with their greasy shoes and didn't have anything down on my carpet...they put a plastic mat on the floor but not until after they already stained my floor. It makes me angry just thinking about it...and the grease all over the stearing wheel and doors. Like they don't have time to clean up their mess.
