Journal II
Well..I did it. The scale went out in Monday's trash. I couldn't take it anymore. I am thinking I will buy a Weight Watchers scale but I am truly not in a rush. It actually has felt good to not have the anxiety about weighing and I am still meeting my goals. So by the time I do step on a scale again it will be a nice suprise.
I got another new Taebo dvd, I know...I know..I have issues. Anyways, I love it. It is 36 minutes. Don't let that fool you. I am dripping sweat by the end and watching the time on the dvd hoping it will end soon!!! It is Cardio Circuit #1. I see some of the people are holding weighted balls in their hands but it is never mentioned. Maybe that is to signify that it is optional. At some point I will purchase the weighted balls to challenge myself even further.
Gotta go and watch American Idol!!

I've noticed the weighted balls too. They are meant to work the same as handweights but safer and more easy to balance. (Plus more expensive). I'm sure they are just to increase the intensity of a workout just like handweights, although easing into using them by starting with a non-weighted ball seems like a good idea.

Another Idol Fan
Hi!
Another AI fan? Cool! I think we should have a Biggest Loser/American Idol Fan Club!
How do you like the Tae Bo? I have the 3 dvd set (Bootcamp). I tried it once and it kicked my butt. Couldnt get through the whole thing. I love the kicks and punches though. Not crazy about the floor work.
I have a WW scale and I am pretty pleased with it. Have you gotten yours yet?
Keep up the great work and keep us posted!

I love Taebo, I am obsessed. I don't particularly like the floorwork either.
I am hoping to get my WW scale in the next 2 weeks or so.

Congrats on having the courage to throw out your scale!
I used to love doing Taebo, I haven't done it in ages though. I have one of Billy Blanks tapes that I used to do...I should get it out and clean the dust off of it..lol!

I did the Taebo Cardio and it was fine until they speeded everything up, then it kicked my butt! I enjoy the kicks and punches too though. I also got 10 minute solutions-kickboxing bootcamp, and that is more manageable than the Taebo.
I love my Weight Watcher scale, it is so accurate!

I've always thought Taebo sounded exciting. I've yet to try it.

Okay, I got the Billy Bands in the mail yesterday. I'm not ready yet. I am not sure when I will add them in.
I just used my visa extra rewards to get two $10 Old navy giftcards. I figure I can stock pile them until I am ready to begin purchasing clothes. Or at least use them along the way. I may at least purchase 1-2 pair of jeans in the next 2 weeks because the ones I have now are too big.
I actually got on a scale today. I know, I know..its been over a week and I was suffering from withdrawal. I am pleased to report I am headed in the right direction. I still haven't gotten my Weight Watchers scale yet. Not in a rush. Once I have that I will again begin reporting weight loss. Until then what my clothes and the tape measure are telling works just fine.
