Yesterday I felt awful. I could not figure out what was going on. I had no appetite. I starting feeling so much better as the day went on. I feel really good now about where I am with this lifestyle change. I am satisfied with the way I am doing it this time. I believe doing it this way will make it lasting. Today I have Water Aerobics at 11:05. When this class ends in March I think I will start Water Kickboxing the following Sunday. I have to make that decision this week because registration starts on Tuesday. I think I will do it because I know the benefits of kickboxing on land. The benefits would be even better with the added resistance of the water. It would be a great and fun workout. I think I have made my decision. Gotta go.

I love water aerobics!!! Unfortunately I can only afford to go during the summer when our local swimming pools are open. We do have a wellness center but it cost like $40 a month, they do water aerobics in their indoor pool but I guess I'll have to wait 'til summer!!!

Water kickboxing sounds awesome! I hope you signed up!

I bet water kickboxing is awesome! I took water aerobics twice during college and it was a great workout. I need to see if there are any classes around me.

Water Aerobics today was great. We did some weights, kickboxing, and cardio. After kickboxing in the water I know I am signing up for that class. I may be signing up for a Yoga or Pilates class too. I gotta keep it interesting or I will get bored. I gotta do that with food too. I am not a big cooker so I need to look at some of these recipes everyone is posting so I can get some ideas. Some of them are simple with few ingredients and those are the best kind for me. I can not wait until the spring!!! I am so ready to be going on long walks. The kind where you've had such a good time you don't even realized how long or far you have walked. I am lucky in that here in the VA/MD/DC area there are so many places to walk.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. My changing has made me a better person...I am more aware of what I do and why I do it. I realized last night that when I get angry I head for food...I got upset last night and I went to bed instead - it kept me away from the food. I am just so happy that my family is supporting me in my lifestyle change...I didn't think they would like it but they do.

Today was a good day. I exercised 2x. Once for 45 minutes teaching Water Aerobics and then I took Powerflex at Bally's for an hour. I sleep real well at night. I thought I would be exhausted but my body is surviving. This will be my third week of exercising 2x a day for 2 days of the week. I may not be able to go to the gym on Wed night because of work. I have to do some pre planning around that. I will find out tomorrow. I also may not be able to go to my Water Aerobics class (personal) on Sunday either because of work. I need to plan for that also. I guess I can either do the treadmill, Pilates, or Taebo. Its good to have options.

I did well with food and water today also.

Way to go butterfly! It is so hard to work around our busy schedules isn't it? I am still trying to work around when I work out and when I prepare dinner so that I am not doing either too late. I cooked dinner early last night and then found I really had to push myself to get my workout done because I felt lethargic after eating and sitting too long.

Well, over the weekend I decided to go off my "diet" portion of my lifestyle change and work on my exercise goals. Unfortunately, I didn't get any exercise done either!!!!! So this morning, the kids found the cinnamon rolls I had bought at the store and wanted them for breakfast. Now normally I'd eat the remaining two so as to prevent an argument as to whom gets them. (Either that, or the cinnamon roll monster would hit in the middle of the night and eat 4 of the six, leaving only 1/2 of one per child.) Well, the cinnamon roll monster didn't hit, and instead of eating the other two, I decided the kids would like an extra treat. So, I cut them in 1/2 and the kids loved it this morning. As for me???? My bowl of grapes will have to do. I know they're loaded with sugar, but they can't be nearly as bad for me as the cinnamon rolls would have been!

You are doing a wonderful job. You exercise quite a bit...sounds like you are enjoying it, too...which is good. You are doing the right thing by planning ahead - keep it up!
