2/22/2006

Urgh - another blah day! I'm not sure what is happening. It's not that I'm feeling sick or anything - I just don't feel up to doing anything - not wanting to clean. Sorry Elizabeth - I know I've been doing good but the past couple of days have been tough. lol Here is how my day went...

Woke up @ 6:30am

Worked out @ 7:05am (Power Mile-15minutes)

Took Dan to the doctor - his appointment was @ 9:00am

McKenna and I shared apple slices for breakfast @ 9:30am

McKenna and I shared a Special K cereal bar/Blueberry @ 11:30am - she stole it from me but who can deny their little one food...lol.

Arrived home @ 12:00pm

Ate lunch @ 12:30pm (2 pieces of White Smoked Turkey w/a slice of cheese - 7 pieces of watermelon, along with water)

Took a nap with Dan and McKenna @ 1:30pm

Woke up @ 3:00pm

Worked out @ 3:30pm (W&K- 30 min)

Went to my parent's house for the evening - arrived home @ 7:00pm.

Ate dinner (late for me) @ 7:15pm (Healthy Choice dinner - Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, along with Sugar Free Kool-Aid) This dinner wasn't too good...I won't be getting it again.

I weigh in tomorrow - I'm nervous and excited about it. My husband will also be measuring me.

I hope all are doing well. I will be in tomorrow to post if I had lost anything. Wish me luck! Talk later.

Don't be down on yourself, it may not have felt like a good day to you, but it sure looks good on paper! You ate right and got a workout in. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your weigh in tomorrow.

That is why I am glad that I am keeping journals on what I eat and my workouts. When I see what I have eaten then I know I had a good day - it has just been so boring!

2/23/2006

Today was my weigh in - I have lost another 3 lbs! YIPPEE! I'm so excited and so proud of myself! My husband, children, nurses, and other family members are happy for me - they know that I am working hard and it is showing!

My daily happenings were like this....

*Woke up @ 6:30am
*Showered @ 6:45am
*Ate breakfast (Special K cereal bar/Chocolate Drizzle, along with 2% milk) @ 7:15am
*Left to take Grant to the dentist @ 7:30am - an hour drive - his appointment was @ 8:45am. Got out of there @ 8:55am.
*Took Grant to school @ 10:00am & sat in my truck (reading newspaper) b/c I had an appointment with his speech therapist @ 10:30am.
*Got home @ 11:15am - got Kenna and went to weigh in and grocery shop.
Weighed in and I have lost another 3 lbs. That is a total of 9 lbs in 3 weeks! WOW! THIS IS AWESOME!
*Went grocery shopping for about an hour.
*When I arrived home I had to carry lots of groceries up 3 flights of stairs - boy, was that a workout in itself! I was starving so I ate lunch.
*Ate lunch (watermelon and yogurt).
*I was finally able to sit down to relax about 2pm - I entered some info into my other journals and then we were off again.
*Went to pick up my car from the shop @ 3:15 when the kids got home from school. We were also going to pick up a kitten for the kids but when we got there the guy said the kitten ran off. I told him I would pick up my car from the shop and be back to see if he was able to get it...it was just hiding. I got back there and no luck - the guy was supposed to drop the kitten off tonight at my house but NO guy. I don't know what is up with it b/c we tried calling him and he wouldn't answer our calls. So...no kitten this week. Guess we'll have to wait and see what is in the paper next week. Our kids thought we were picking it up for my niece so they have no idea and aren't upset about it. I am upset though. I was really wanting a playmate for my cat, Snowball.
*I got back home and started dinner...Spaghetti Squash! I was nervous about making it but it turned out okay. Dan, my husband liked it...Sami & Kenna loved it...and Grant wouldn't even try it (he is a very picky eater anyway). The only thing I will do differently next time is drain the squash - it was runny but tasted good.
*Worked out 45 minutes after dinner - can't remember the time...I think it was 6:30 - yeah, that is it b/c I just finished working out when American Idol came on.

I won't workout this late again b/c my feet hurt now. I was so busy today - I'm ready to get to bed.
