Maltese Phil in August

Hi all. The year seems to be flying along. August already. It doesn't seem like 7 months since my wife did the test and we found out Baby was on the way. He / She will be here any day now. We are both looking forward to it, more so Clare since she's getting back pains etc etc, I'm sure you ladies who have had kiddies know what she's going through.

I'm also very happy to tell about my own recent small victory. Since my shape has changed so much I need new shorts for they gym. I'm now in Medium, I started in XL.

My new program is going great. Ok its only day 2 but I'm enjoying it. Except last night since my arms and shoulders ached so much I didn't get a comfortable sleep. Today was my 1st time on a climber / stepper, like running up an infinite flight of stairs. My legs are a little bit wobbly. It was strange today as Clare has frozen her membership for 2 months now (the minimum they allow) so she wasn't there waiting for me when I finished up. She's been swimming in the pool while I worked out.

Happy August to you all.

Sounds like you are doing great with the new workouts and I bet it feels nice to be able to wear a smaller size. I remember when I had to go shopping for new gym clothes and I could fit into a medium pants...now I am working to get myself into the small ones!

When was your wife's due date again? I remember you saying sometime in August, but not sure when. I bet you both are extremely excited about it.

Hi All.

I dropped off my wife for a check up at the hospital this morning. As a precaution I've got her maternity case in the back of my car so should they choose to keep her in for a caesarian then we're ready.

No gym this morning though but my new program is a bit more flexible so I can miss days for baby appointments.

I'll post photos (camera also ready) as soon as baby Jackson arrives.

Thanks you for all your kind messages. We both really Appreciate them.

This new workout program makes me feel really out of shape. Its quite a bit more intensive than previously. It makes me feel like the muscles are going to pop off my arms an legs. I've got soreness on my tummy from the abdominals I'm doing too. My clothes are soaking wet through when I finish and it looks like I took a shower fully clothed.
