Hi Susie,
Good luck studying and make sure you don't let nervousness/worry drive you to eat. I know I have done that -just ask yourself if you're really hungry or just eating because you're nervous about your exam.

Okay, so you didn't make the best choices at one meal, but I bet you did a lot better than the last pot luck, and at the next one you'll do even better. You're still doing a fantastic job. If you were going out and buying tubs of ice cream despite knowing you shouldn't -I'd worry. But this? No worry -you'll be back on track in no time because you want this.

Congrats on being a new moderator and helping Aaron out -really nice of you to step up. Cheers!

Pot lucks are just torture!!! Usually, I want to try a little bit of everything. NOT a good idea! I have been to a few though, where I've barely gotten enough to eat! I was one of the last to go through, and all the really good stuff was gone. Maybe that is the key -- just be sure you go last!

That's kind of what I did, was one of the last to go through the line.

I hate to be rude and not try everybody's dishes but even if you get just a little bit of each it all adds up fast!!!

Thanks Jules. I think alot of my over eating the past week has been due to PMS plus nervousness about the exam. I'm trying really hard to keep it in check.

Thanks for the congrats on Aaron choosing me to be a moderator. I don't think it's going to be hard since most everybody on here are genuine and friendly. This is such a great board!!!

I've kind of neglected my poor journal these past few days.

I haven't done so well eating the past week or so. PMS monster!!! I have managed to get up the past 3 mornings and exercise and I'm not going to stop this time!!! I will get up & exercise every morning!!

Today I ate.....

Breakfast-fruit & yogurt parfait from McDonalds

Lunch-2 chicken soft tacos from Taco Mayo..just chicken, lettuce & cheese...on the 2nd one I only ate the insides, not the tortilla.

Dinner-Left overs. Chicken breast, Ragu Cheddar Cheese Sauce, can of Ro-tel mixed together with about 10 or 12 tortilla chips. (not the greatest choice but I was studying & needed something quick)

Snack this evening-Fudge Bar

I have not idea how many calories that was all day?? I really need to start keeping better track.

I cannot wait to get this exam over with on Monday!!!! Once I get past it and hopefully pass it this time I will feel so much better. It's so much stress!!

I'm thinking about getting a part time job on Thursday evenings. It's just one day a week at a Auto Auction. I think it starts at 5:30 in the evening until the auction closes which is usually before 10:00 pm. It pays $50 a week for one evenings work for a few hours which isn't too bad. I might go next Thursday evening with the girl that's doing it now. She is wanting to quit and is helping them find her replacement. If I go with her and like it and think I can do it I'm going to try. $200 extra a month, I think it will be worth it. Only problem will be the kiddos. They can always stay with my Aunt next door but if I get home late they might have to stay the night over there. Which shouldn't be a problem.

I hope everybody is doing well and has a good night.

PMS really is a monster, I can sympathise with you on that one - I hope it passes soon for you. It really does make a difference to eating patterns, doesn't it?

Hope everything works out well for you if you decide to take that part time job and you can work out childcare arrangements okay.

Hope the studying is going well and take care.

Good morning everyone. Well, I weighed in this morning at work and I lost another 2.8 lbs. I was shocked!! I just knew I had gained these past 2 weeks. I cannot believe I am under 160 lbs now and only 19 lbs to my goal. I am so proud of myself!

Bad news today, we're having a going away party for a co-worker which means lots of food!!! My friend and I are going together on a veggie tray from Wal-Mart so at least I know we're going to have something healthy to snack on. I'm sure there's going to be lots of other good fattening stuff too though, I'm going to try my best to avoid them!

I guess I better get to work. Talk to ya'll later.

Hey Susie!

Congratulations on getting to the 150's. Wow only 19 to go. That really isnt a lot, compared to what you have already taken off. Nobody is going to recognize you! Cant wait to see the before and after pictures! Any word on the Thursday night job? Never hurts to have an extra paycheck. Hope the new car is still running great. I am seeing many many trips to the mall for new clothes to fit the newer you! You should be really proud of the progress you have made in the past few months.
