Theresa, sorry to hear that your V-day wasn't all that great! Great resolve on the brownies though! It is hard not to eat them when your child makes them "especially for you."

Excellent answer! Bring the brownies to work,(but say you are going to share), that way your son wont feel like you didnt want them. I think he ment well. As for your hubby, I wouldnt worry. At least he realized he was wrong and apologized. You are right, only you can control you. Dont waste time trying to control the actions of others. It will only stress you out. Great job on the Pilates. I have seen the infomercials but never tried them personally. Do you like them? How are the pooches??

Hey, I'm right with you on the brownies. My daughter made me heart shapes ones yesterday. Of course I had to eat one, and I ended up eating half of another one but hey, it's ok. We both got up and did our exercises this morning! Woo-Hoo for us!!

You're right, we can't control what anybody else does but we can control ourselves and we've got the control to lose weight, get in shape and feel better about ourselves!

Thanks everyone. I am feeling alot better now and I am sooooo proud of myself because I have stuck to my points and did my pilates today. This morning I wanted to eat everything I shouldnt like the rest of those brownies LOL but I didn't. YEAH for me.

Oh you're good! I'm afraid if I had brownies or cake around it would be gone in a heart beat! I'm afraid I may have hurt my daughter's feelings earlier today. She's five and she kept trying to share her m&m's with me. Apparently I wasn't so kind about saying no because she walked away with a frown on her face. I didn't mean to break her little heart, but after the 3rd time of saying no, I was rather aggrivated that the temptation kept coming around. I almost just popped them in w/o a second thought.

Oh I can just imagine her little face I am sure two minutes later she was off thinking about something else. Kids are great that way at that age.

Sorry everyone. I haven't been on here for a few days. I have had an emotional week and very busy. I am still doing good with everything. I weigh in on Monday. Hope it is good. I feel pretty good about it. I have been doing pretty well sticking to my points so it should be good.
