Hope you feel better Carol. I too was bit by some kind of flu bug. I was teaching today and suddenly my stomach hurt and I had to worst headache. The office had to call a sub for me half way through the day. I ended up spending a lot of time in bed.

Thanks to all the well-wishers out there. I hope everyone manages to stay healthy, but there are some wicked bugs going around out there. Wash your hands!! Wash your hands!!! Wash your hands!!!
I'm doing pretty good. I still have a raging headache. Thank goodness for Advil. While I haven't been working out, I think I have been doing ok. I'm not expecting any loss- -just hoping for no gain, on my next weigh-in. It's not till Wednesday, so I"m hoping I'll start feeling better, and can get some exercise in.
It's sooooo cold! 2 degrees-- I don't even know what the wind chill is, but it's windy!
What I'm finding discouraging, is that I did a tough workout on Monday, and got the sore muscles, and everything. But now, since I haven't been able to do much since, it's like it was all for nothing! If I could be more consistant, my muscles would be getting stronger. This way, they work hard, get sore, then just go back to their old selves. Weak, and flabby! AAcckk!
But, I know better. It's all good, and they will recover sooner, next time. I just wish I hadn't gotten sick, so I could be feeling strong now, instead of tired and sluggish.
Well, I have to go -- gotta watch my kids in their play. It's going to be a lot of fun. I just dread going out in the cold cold wind! BRRRRR!

It has gotten wicked cold here also! I am kind of worried because I am supposed to go out of town tomorrow and there is a freezing rain advisory until noon-Uuugh!
I feel better though. I didn't feel so hot today but I trudged through and went and worked out anyway. Now that it is all said and down I am feeling somewhat better. Hope you feel better too!

Ugh -- I still feel terrible. Not really much to report. I think I'm getting better, then... Wham... it knocks me down again. I spent yesterday huddled under covers, trying to stay warm. I was miserable. I'm not sure what was going through my head -- I guess I was delirous-- but I was sure that eating pop tarts would make me feel better. Well.... it didn't . And I ate 4!!! I know-- shame on me. I also laid in bed watching 'The Thorn Birds ' for a large part of the day.
I'm feeling better today. Still have a head full of snot ( sorry if that's too graphic for you), and will probably spend a significant chunk of today huddled in that same bed. But I have already cleaned bathrooms, while my family was at church. Hopefully I killed some of those nasty bugs! I think possibly this time, I am actually on the road to recovery!
Pop tarts--- I can't believe I ate pop tarts!!!  I don't even LIKE pop tarts!!!

Isn't it strange what we eat when we are sick? It seems like you spend most of the day going, "no, I don't want that. no, I don't want that either." Just hoping you are feeling better, I know you will get back on that diet wagon tomorrow.

I feel almost human today. Still not up to working out though. I might just do some stretches, and toning. I think cardio would kill me.
I haven't been doing too bad on food, aside from the dreaded pop tarts (strawberry) My goal is to not have gained this past week. I weigh in on Wednesday.
Here's to the road to recovery! ( raises glass of OJ)
