~Growing Stronger~
I decided to make a general journal this month because my monthly journals don't have many entries. Since barely anyone posts on the site anymore, I thought it would be beneficial to just use one journal from now on to track my progress.
I'm not sure what my weight is at the moment because I normally weigh in only on Saturday's. This past Saturday I was hovering around the same weight of 157. I can feel myself getting smaller every day though. The workout pants I bought a couple of months ago are way too big for me now and I have to constantly pull them up....time to find a new pair. I am now able to see definition in my upper body and the muscles that are underneath dying to rise to the surface of the skin. I will get there...I just have to remain focused. One thing I have noticed the most recently is how much my collar bones are visible and how much thinner my face looks.
Dennis continues to motivate and push me twice a week and I am in the gym a solid 5 days a week busting my butt so I can achieve my goals. I am about 27 pounds away from target. Once I reach that target it will be time to re-evaluate where I stand/how my body looks/what my fat % is...and I may have to set some new goals to reach. My body fat % is still up in the mid 20's and I'd like to get it down between 15-18% or so...at least that is what my current goal is.
The wedding plans are coming along nicely. I went shopping with my florist the other day and picked up a lot of silk flowers and she is going to start on the flowers shortly. I am having her make corsages, boutineers, my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and flower girl...along with 2 floral arrangements for the ceremony. In the next few days we will be finalizing our guest list (it's at 283 people and we'd like to cut it back)...and then my sister and I are going to be putting some of the invites together next weekend. I'd like to send the invitations out in the mail the beginning of August.
My mom and sister threw a co-ed wedding shower for us a few weekends ago and we had a lot of fun. We got a lot of nice gifts that are going to come in handy and we are so happy for them. I sent my thank you cards out in the mail yesterday. I still have 2 more wedding showers to go...the wedding is only a little over 3 months away now and we're getting very excited!!
Matt & I have booked our honeymoon. We are going to Puerto Plata in the Dominican for 7 days. I have never been outside of Canada much except for one trip to Florida when I was 17 years old...so I'm really looking forward to an actual vacation.
I guess I should go shower and find something to eat. We just got back from the gym where I did biceps, triceps and calves today. Spent 40 minutes running on the treadmill today also.
Happy Canada Day to those in Canada....Matt & I are going to the fireworks tonight.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
I can't believe how well you are still doing. You are so inspiring! I need to get back at it. I have definitely gained since the last time I was on here. I have been watching The Biggest Loser Australia on youtube and it has been such a pick me up to my attitude.
I just wanted to say well done and keep it up, you are going to be a beautiful bride!

awww thanks! It was really nice logging on today and seeing a message from you, haven't heard from you in so long. Happy Canada Day to you as well. I just finished watching the Biggest Loser Australia episodes that were on the Slice Network I believe...the one with Wal & Adro...is that the same one you're watching?

Yes! That is the one I just watched! I have watched all season of the american show and have always missed the finale for whatever reason, so it was nice to see finale results. I also saw a video of Adro after he had had some skin removing surgery. I could only imagine what kind of loose skin would result from such a quick weight loss. Who were you hoping to win?

I didn't realize you could watch these on youtube. I'll have to check it out some night when I can't sleep, or some lazy afternoon when I have nothing to do and none of the kids are on the computer..... yeah like that will ever happen!

Yes! There is one person who has added all episodes from all 3 seasons. Their name is tblaus1 for season 1, tblaus for season 2 and I haven't watched season 3 yet but I think it's the same with a 3 on the end... if you do ever get access to the internet from the kids! They are pretty good quality too when you make them full screen.
How was your weigh in today Missy?

I've just been watching them. I'm up to episode 6, and just saw the first weigh in. It's hard to stop watching once you get started! Thanks for sharing. It's weird to see the weights in kilos, but I'm getting used to it. I know a kilo is 2.2 pounds.

I had a tough time with converting the kilos too. I couldn't believe some of the numbers they were pulling out once I converted them! It is definitely hard to stop once you get started!
