I got my nails done today...it feels really weird because I am used to keeping my nails soooooooooo short. I think they turned out really pretty though. I am no longer stressed, this week has been pretty laid back for me since we finished everything early. We go to the hall tomorrow to make sure everything is set up the way we want it...then the rehearsal is tomorrow night.
The weather is supposed to be nice on Saturday...but a tad chilly, so I bought a while shawl to put over my arms in between pictures. I still can't believe this day is finally here!

We got back from our honeymoon in the Dominican on Saturday. The weather was gorgeous and so hot there! It was a huge shock to come back here to cold weather and find out we had snow! We had an incredible time relaxing on the beach and by the pools at the resort. They had nightly bands & entertainment for us to take part in....we also went horseback riding and to an island called Paradise Island. They had the most beautiful sand and aqua blue water...we went swimming and snorkeling there. We met a few other couples that we hung around with a lot of the time.
I made a website where I have put most of the pro pics from our wedding photographer. I have been adding more as she sends them to me...so if you'd like to take a peek Matt & Missy <br/>October 18, 2008 |

I haven't posted here in a long time, because there's no point really. I don't feel like many have continued this losing weight process and I feel alone anyways...not very motivating. It makes me sad that so many people who used to come here have given up on themselves. I know losing weight isn't easy, but giving up the minute something gets hard is not the answer.
I've been keeping busy with my new husband, he keeps me going. My trainer is a saint as well...I've been feeling pretty blah lately and he always gives me those awesome heart to heart pep talks. I remember one day when I told him I would love to work as a trainer, but said I wanted to be fit first...he replied with "You are already 99% fitter than most of my clients, you could be a trainer now." Hearing him say that to me meant a lot because he's always been big on trainers being in good shape. (There have been a lot in that gym that were out of shape). I'm still training with Dennis twice a week, still going to the gym all 5 days a week.
I have been disgusted with this seasons show as well. I don't find it very motivating at all. A lot of the contestants are rude and self-centred..and they aren't even there for the weight loss process it seems. There are only a few on that entire show who I thought really deserved this...and most of those true people have been kicked off already. I really want Michelle or Renee to kick those other idiots asses. I have absolutely no respect for anyone on that pathetic blue team. I've always preferred Jillian as a trainer over Bob since I've started watching...but this season just takes the cake.
My husband and I have been doing a huge clean up...boxing up a bunch of stuff we don't want anymore and taking it to the Good Will (for lower income families). We need to make room for the new wedding stuff we got. I got tons of clothes, shoes, old spice racks, knife sets etc that we are going to donate.
We had our work Christmas party last weekend which was nice. We went to the Hilton Hotel here and had a lovely meal of capon chicken with a medley of veggies. From December 12-14th we are going to be visiting my husbands family and going to their Christmas. From December 25-28th we will be with my family. I think we have decided to alternate years with the families.
I finished my Christmas shopping a few weeks ago already, I always avoid stores this time of year because they are way too busy and people tend to get very rude.
Now that the wedding is over, all our extra money we make in the month will be saved for a down payment on our first home. We'd like to buy one within the next year...so we'll be penny pinching for awhile
We have talked about starting our family next summer possibly as well...we don't need that whole few years honeymoon stage most people take as a couple after getting married. We've been together as a couple for just over 7 years already...and I'm 28. We're planning for 2-3 kids, so we'd like to get started It's a very exciting time in our lives right now!
