Talking ~Missy in May~

I'm starting May off in really good spirits. I always do my weigh in's once a week and always on Saturday mornings on an empty stomach. If I were to weigh myself anymore than that I'd get really discouraged throughout the week. I have been "giving it my all" in regards to my workouts and my eating and it's really paying off. I lost 2.5 pounds this week!! Since I started back with Dennis in January, I've lost a total of 22.5 pounds. In 4 months time most people would probably be able to drop way more than that...but considering how small I am now, it's really hard for me. 22.5 pounds seems really big for me...considering I was stuck in a plateau for almost a full year.

Matt's cousin and his girlfriend are coming up here this weekend and possibly staying with us. Their plans are kind of up in the air, but I think we're all going for dinner tonight (luckily it's cheat day!) Next weekend we're celebrating Matt's 26th birthday and his friend (our best man) is coming up for the weekend.

I'm going to start logging in my weight at the beginning of the month again because I always forget how much I've lost during the month because of changing my signature at the bottom. I'm logging in today at 163.5 pounds.

I had a killer workout with Dennis last night and my legs are paying for it today. It hurts to walk *LOL* I did lunges last night while holding a 45 pound weight...did 140 pounds on my calves, did 80 pounds on the chest press, 110 pounds on my upper back, 45 pounds on biceps, 55 pounds on shoulders, 40 pounds on triceps, 70 pounds on my hamstrings. In between I had to do lots of lunges, squats, jumping squats, running on the stepper.

Anyways...for today's workout I did 3 different tricep machines and I did my upper back today too...spent 50 minutes on the treadmill..burned off 360 cals or so. I have 2.5 pounds to lose until I break 100 pounds lost again...working my butt off this week and have been really anal with my food. Dennis was shocked last night when I told him how much I weigh...he seemed really happy and impressed.

I did an all cardio day today...burned off 510 calories on the treadmill.....didn't think my heart would take it, I was sweating buckets. I have been running in intervals with my speed up at 7.5..pretty brutal.

I have to prepare for a workout with Dennis tomorrow...my legs still hurt from Monday.

I achieved the ultimate tonight at the gym!! I did the lay down bench press....and I benched 100 pounds!! Dennis said his fiance was the strongest woman he could see to do that...she could do it 4 times....tonight was my first time trying it with that much weight and I almost did it 7 times.

I am started to see huge changes in myself...especially in my face, stomach and legs. I now have broader, squarer shoulders as opposed to them being overly round and big like they once were...I am starting to see my underlying ripped athletic body and I'm really eager to make it all the way.

I busted out 45 minutes on the treadmill tonight too....hopefully the scale shows all my hard work tomorrow morning.

Did my weigh in...down another pound this week!! I'm so happy....only 1.5 more pounds to go until I hit the 100 pound loss mark again...looking forward to it. I'm really going to try and hit it next week if I can.

We are celebrating Matt's birthday today...I'm taking him out for dinner (good thing it's cheat day!) and then we might have some friends over later...tomorrow going to my parents for Mother's Day.

I had an all cardio day at the gym today and spent an hour busting my butt on the treadmill...burned off 430 cals. My shirt was soaked right through...mmmm!!

This month has been super busy for me and there's still a few hectic weekends coming up. This weekend Matt & I are going to Windsor for the long weekend and staying at his parents place. I was invited to his cousin's fiance's bridal shower so Matt's mom and I will be going to that on Sunday. The following weekend we are celebrating my sisters birthday.

My mom is throwing me a bridal shower on June 22nd for her side of the family...then she's throwing me another one later in September for my dads side of the family. I believe Matt's mom is throwing me one as well for her family....so I guess I'm getting 3 showers

I'm still dropping weight...weigh in is on Saturday, so I'm not going to peek just yet! I had a torture session with Dennis this past Monday and he killed my abs...it literally hurts to move or roll over in bed, that's how sore they are. I have another session this Friday...should be fun times haha.

I had a great long weekend, the weather wasn't too bad. It has been a bit chilly here the past couple days though. I spent the weekend in Windsor at Matt's parents place. On Sunday went to the bridal shower for his cousins fiance....she got a LOT of stuff, including a bbq and a stainless steel dishwasher! It made me really excited for my bridal showers.

We also went to see the new Narnia movie, Prince Caspian...it was awesome! I thought it was better than the first one.

Got my butt kicked by Dennis yesterday...my legs, back and abs are sore today. Today at the gym I did chest & triceps...did the bench press again today at 100 pounds and managed to get 9 on my first set, 7 on my second and 6 on my last set...didn't think I'd ever be able to bench press that much! Guess I under estimated how strong I actually am. The last fit-test I had close to 120 pounds of solid muscle on my body. I spent an hour on the treadmill tonight too and burned off a little over 400 calories.

I'm really starting to think my body doesn't like lunges. A few months ago I pulled my quad from doing them...Dennis gave it about 2 months to heal and then we tried again about 2 weeks ago. I've been doing them fine until last night when I pulled my left hamstring! ERRR! Guess it's back to plain squats and jump squats for me until it heals again!

I didn't lose any weight this week...I've been maintaining though which I am happy about. It's been a bad couple weeks because we've had so much going on every weekend...and it involved lots of good yummy food. We are celebrating my sister's birthday tomorrow too...but we're using our cheat day..so I'm hoping to still maintain.

I re-figured out my foods using my excel spreadsheet and for the last 2 months I've been eating less than I thought I was...I'm only eating 1200 calories/day. That could be why I've been losing slower than I was before too...Dennis told me to up my cals to 1500 again because I may not be getting enough food for the current weight I'm at. Which can be a reason you don't lose weight.

Not much else going on...probably going to do some shopping today. It's gorgeous out today too so might spend some time outside or go for a walk/run or something.

Matt & I both got off work early today. We used up 5 hours of our vacation time because we are low on work anyways. We went to the gym early today, it was much nicer because it wasn't swamped with people like it usually is. Today I did back, triceps, biceps and calves. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and burned 320 cals.

I had a torture session with Dennis last night and another one this coming Thursday...his new thing is telling me he loves me..lol, what a retard. He's always like "I torture you because I love you"...makes me want to punch him...because at the time I can barely breathe because I'm exhausted.

Anyways, since we got off work early today we are doing 3 loads of laundry (bedding mostly). I put the cotton sheets on so I'm hoping it doesn't get cold out again. I think we might go out for a walk after supper and then watch a few movies later.
