~Missy in March~
March pretty much came in like a lion this year, we had a pretty bad storm and the roads are horrible. I'm hoping the plows have been out to salt them already because I have to drive across the city this morning to pick my sister up! I am going to try on wedding dresses today! I am super excited about it. My sister is coming along as well to try on some bridesmaid ones. The store we are going to is having a sale today with up to 75% off....so I really want to take part in that and save some money if I can. It's hard to believe that my wedding day is only about 6 1/2 months away!
I'm down 15 pounds since January and feeling really good about things. Dennis continues to push me and kill me, but I'm loving it. Who knew I would love the difficult challenges that exercise can bring!! He made me do something really hard last night too, I'll try to explain it the best I can. Basically you stand on one leg, the other leg is held out straight behind you. You can't bend that leg....EVER! Then, you slowly bend your leg (the one you're balancing on) towards the ground and then use your hands to walk your body out into a push up position. But remember, you can't put the one leg down. Then, you have to do a pushup and walk yourself back up into a standing position without putting your other leg down...it's really hard! I had to do 10 on each leg. The hardest part was getting myself back up off the ground from the pushup.
My sessions with Dennis are almost over again. I only bought 14....so if the funds are kicking around when they are finished, I might buy a little bit more. I want to finish this and get down to my goal weight once and for all! I also want to be the dream bride I always envisioned myself to be.
I'm going to go eat some breakfast. This morning I'm having weight control oatmeal with a glass of straight egg whites lol. The ones I buy don't really have any taste to them, so it's easy to drink them straight for the protein. Then I'm off to look at wedding gowns...wish me luck!

I bought my dress today! It made me feel like such a princess and my waist looked so tiny in it!

Got another whooping from Dennis tonight...he always seems to find ways to make my workouts even harder than the last. I swear he sits around and ponders ideas of how he can torture me lol. I don't think I've sweated so much in my entire life than I did in the last hour. I'm enjoying every minute of it and my core is getting much stronger than it was when I started.
After my weights/cardio workout with Dennis, I spent another 40 minutes on the elliptical and burned off 350 calories.
Not much else is new, it's been raining here all day. I worked overtime at work again....think I'll work extra every day as long as they are offering the overtime. Once they cancel it again, then I'll stop haha....I like having the extra money kicking around....for the wedding savings...but I'd also like to buy more training sessions! So extra money is good. Right now I'm making about an extra $150/week by working the overtime. Pretty decent!
I'm still going to sessions with my coucellor/social worker as well. She's going to try a technique called EMDR on me...basically it takes the bad thoughts/reactions you have to certain things and makes it less disturbing for you. I'm hoping it will improve my negetive self talk and body image.

I did an all cardio day at the gym today, felt good for once! I spent an hour on the elliptical and burned 610 calories.
Been working overtime again all week, so I've been pretty tired & cranky...can't wait until the weekend.

We're starting to get a pretty nasty storm here again...another 20-30cm is expected according to the news anyways. I've had enough of the snow and cold now...wish it would warm up so I can be outside.
Finished another torturing session with Dennis tonight...found out he got signed to TNA wrestling and is going to be on Spike Tv thursday nights now..haha how awesome is that?
I did a full body weights workout with him tonight with cardio oriented exercises in between sets and then I spent 40 min doing cardio and burned off 400 more cals.
Tomorrow is weigh in day today...hoping I lost this week. I was pretty anal with my food..so we'll see.
Meeting with another dj tomorrow afternoon...hope this one works out.
I'll leave off with a recent stomach pic that I took tonight actually...I've lost a lot of fat in that area since working with Dennis again....it's getting there, work in progress.

I'm down a pound this week...was hoping for more, but at this stage in the game I'm happy for any loss! As you get lower in weight, it gets harder and harder to lose..so 1 pound makes me happy. Since starting with Dennis again on Jan 4/08 I am down 16 pounds.

Had an awesome sweat dripping workout with Dennis tonight. When I work out with him I feel like I'm the quad master....man he kills my quads everytime and they burn so bad I feel like they're going to explode. Doesn't feel good at all. His workouts are so intense. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do the cardio stuff in between weight sets...but I know I am getting more results this way. In between my weights, he makes me do squats, or jumping squats. Sometimes I have to jump up and down on the stepper with both feet (I'm improving my balance by doing so)...or he makes me do step ups on a very high bench. Gets my heart rate pumping so hard that I can barely breathe. No rest and then I have to move on to my second weight set...it's brutal.
Anyways, I did 40 minutes of cardio after all that and burned off about 360 calories tonight.
Putting in overtime at work again all this week...and they are having a pizza lunch on Wednesday...I wish they didn't reward us with food!! I think I'm going to bring my own lunch along anyways and pass on the pizza as tempting as it is. I can't afford to eat it right now.
We had a big storm here over the weekend and got 29cm of snow...had to dig my car out yesterday so I wouldn't have to do it before work this morning. When you drive down the roads, it's banked up as high as the car windows almost...crazy!

Decided to buy some more training sessions and they gave me a pretty good deal, they are charging me less than they do normal clients because I've already spent a good chunk of change on training. Anyways, bought 24 more sessions and they threw in 3 free ones with that. Plus with the 10 Dennis is giving me for free as a wedding gift, I now have 37 more training sessions with Dennis! YAY!!
I spent an hour today doing all cardio. Did the treadmill today for something different. I ran off an on in intervals for about 40 minutes of that...1 min walking, 2 running...1 walking...2 running etc. The other 20 minutes I put the incline very high at like 12...so I was walking uphill and focusing on my butt...kept the speed at 3.6 for that 20 minutes.

I had a very intense workout with Dennis tonight. I didn't do any weights...NONE! haha he wanted to do something totally different to shock my body so we did a full hour of cardio oriented exercises. I did jumping squats, jumping up and down off the stepper, doing squats off the stepper...then he took me into the aerobic room and I had to do running back and forth...jumping over steppers, more jumping squats. I also had to do like a million of those push up things I had mentioned before. Where you balance on one leg, hold one leg straight behind you and you can't bend it.....you slowly bend your knee and walk yourself out into a pushup position and then push your whole body back up off the ground into a standing position again...they are frickin' hard!
He had some bad news though....he's quitting wrestling. He seemed very down and depressed because it's his life passion..I feel so bad for him. He wants us to come out to his last show...said it's going to be a big tear fest for him. Basically his body can't handle it anymore and he needs to get a lot of surgery. He needs a pin or something put in one of his shoulders, has to get both elbows looked at and has to have work done on his back. I'd really like to go out to his last show to support him....it's in Toronto.
It really sucks for him because he's at the peak of his wrestling career and was just signed to TNA wrestling....but he can't do it anymore
Anyways, in other news...Matt & I had created a wedding registry at Canadian Tire and they informed us a little over a month ago that they were cancelling them altogether and that they would send us a little gift for the time we spent picking things out on the site....anyways...today in the mail we got $100 gift card from them! Totally wasn't expecting that much!
Not much planned for the weekend...we got groceries tonight and we're meeting with a dj this weekend about the wedding. We had to cancel last weekend because of the snowstorm...
Tomorrow is weigh in day, let's hope I'm down again.

Just weighed in...I am down another pound this week. I'm really going to try to be more anal with my food and workouts this week.
