Just finished another brutal workout with Dennis today. Today's a Canadian holiday called "Family Day"...kind of a lame excuse for a holiday...but I don't mind being off work! The gym was open anyways until 6.
I did a full body workout today...back, chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps, calves, hamstrings, quads. He had me do tons of squats in between sets as well as pause squats where you pause and hold them on the bottom. He saved the best for last...abs! I hate abs with a passion and he always kills me on them. I have gotten a lot stronger in the past few weeks too.
I did the leg press today using one leg at a time only with 180 pounds on the machine....HARD! It burned so bad. I am doing 70 pounds on hamstring curls now and did 70 on the chest press, 60 on shoulders, 50 on biceps.
I spent 40 minutes on the elliptical today too and burned off 400 cals on there today.
Yesterday, we booked the piano player to play our wedding ceremony. We picked out all our songs and everything, pretty happy to have that out of the way now. The only person we have left to book that requires notice & a deposit is a dj. We had problems with the last one...so we're looking into someone different.

I had a pretty good workout today. I was by myself today...worked out my back, shoulders and did some triceps. I spent 40 minutes doing cardio today and burned off 420 cals.
Can't wait to see where I'm at on the scale next weekend...I'm already down almost 15 pounds since I started up with Dennis in January.
Can't wait to see the show tonight!

I had a pretty good day today..I just did cardio at the gym, I did a full hour and ended up burning about 700 calories. They had the heat cranked at the gym for some reason too and I was sweating so bad. I really wanted them to turn air on or something because I felt like I was about to pass out.
Anyways...Matt found out at work today that he got the promotion he applied for!! Since January, he's got a salary increase of $7,000 so far this year! Good for him! It will definately help us out with the wedding fund and our house downpayment fund. We're saving for both right now, lol.
It's my dads birthday today too...we're celebrating this coming weekend though since we can't do it during the week. I can't wait to see my parents, it's been awhile.

Today I did chest, biceps & traps for my workout. I spent 45 minutes on the elliptical today and burned off 500 calories.
The shotglasses I ordered are in, so I have to pick them up at UPS...we bought them for wedding favors. They have our names & wedding date on them and we are going to fill them with little red & silver hershey kisses chocolate.
Not much else to update on..except Biggest Loser Australia is on tonight!

Today was weigh in day for me, I do it every Saturday morning now and don't check my weight any other day of the week. I just found it would discourage me, A LOT! So I stopped checking it so much. Anyways, got on this morning and I'm down another 3 pounds this week! During the week, I had a feeling I was down just because my stomach area looked smaller when I'd look in the mirror...yesterday I noticed a pair of pants I put on to be a little loose.....so happy right now!!
Matt & I are going to another couples place today to visit for awhile. She's actually going to be my wedding photographer and her little 3 year old is going to be my flower girl. I've known her for almost 7 years now...so I'm pretty happy that she offered to do my wedding photography for free. I was looking around prior and noticed wedding photographers to be bloody expensive. I found anywhere from $1200 +
Then on Sunday, Matt & I are going over to my sister & her boyfriends place, along with both my parents...we are going to celebrate my dads birthday and have some dinner..I haven't seen my parents in awhile, so I'm looking forward to it.
Anyways, hope you're all doing well.
In about an hour and 1/2 I have another brutal session with Dennis.

I picked up my favors today from UPS...they are exactly what I wanted...none of them are broken and the print is perfect...so we're very happy!!
Here's a pic...it's not the greatest shot of it...but it says Matt & Missy October 18, 2008...we're going to fill them with red & silver hershey kisses.

I had another exhausting workout with Dennis today...full body. All the cardio machines that I wanted were taken tonight so I ended up doing 40 minutes on the treadmill, burned 360 calories. Not too bad.
I worked some overtime at work today too...doing it again tomorrow...I'd love the extra money to put into savings.

Congrats on your weight loss.
I love your glasses-- what a neat idea.
My 20th anniversary will be October 8, 2008.
It's a beautiful time of year to get married.
Are you using red as part of your wedding colors? I did. ( I ask because of the red kisses)
Keep up the good work!

Thank you. Yes, I am having my bridesmaid and flower girl in red...and the wedding gown I've been eyeing has red in it as well.
