I can't believe another year has come and gone already. So much happened in 2007. I have spent most of the new year in the hospital emergency, because a friend over did it and ended up having to get her stomach pumped. No fun at all. I didn't make a resolution this year, I usually don't. I would like to look at this new year as a clean slate, I can do with it what I want. And I want to lose weight this year, make better food choices and excercise more. I need to remember how important it is to take care of your body, it's the only one you get. I have all the knoweldge I need to be a better me, I just need to put it into action.

I was finally able to weigh myself this morning. I have been having the worst sleeping patterns lately. I wake up feeling terrible and at weird times too. I am on a night shift and have been for over a year now so I'm usually sleeping between 6am-4pm (not all at once, but going to bed at different times in there) I can usually get 6-8 hours in. I think the time off for christmas and new years messed me up. Now I'm all just all turned around, I'll get 2 hours and wake up and not be tired to go back to sleep so I'll stay up for 4 hours or so then want to go back to bed.. etc.

Anyway I'm happy I didn't gain since Nov. 1. I am actually the exact same weight. But I found an old journal I had from last year and on Jan. 4, 07 I was 212lbs. Not much progress this year, but I'm not going to allow it to hold me back, I had my accident and that really got me off track in the summer.

I am going to go to the gym tomorrow and hopefully just get some good hard cardio in. I'm going on a snowboarding trip Jan. 22, so I want to get ready for that.

Definitly get enough sleep, its so important in weight loss. I cant imagine how hard it would be to stay up at night, I am such a goober, staying up last midnight messes me up. I am pulling for you, praying for a very successful and healthy year!

My sleeping patterns have still been pretty wacky the past couple weeks. I need to get back into routine!!! I'm trying really hard at the eating aspect of things, but lately with my poor sleep I have not been hungry at all and a few days only managed to eat breakfast. Hopefully I'll get more of an appetite once I start sleeping right. I have lost some which makes me happy, but because I haven't been eating well, it'll probably come back on once I eat normally again.
