30 minutes stretching and toning

I spent the last 2 days painting. Not too bad of a workout. At least I know I've used muscles that don't typically get much use! I really like the color we picked too. Next step is to rip out the old floors so we can lay some nice hardwood. It's going to look so nice when we get it all done!

I had my physical yesterday. I really liked this guy. He made me feel very comfortable and spent a lot of time just talking to me. I like that -- it's like he wanted to get to know me, instead of just herding me through, to get to the next patient.
He said that I could probably stand to lose some weight, like a lot of people, but that I was in very good health. Except for a mole, which is what prompted me to make the appointment in the first place. I have this mole that's been changing and I thought I'd better get it checked out.
He did biopsy it, and I should know next week if it's anything serious. I'm anxious, but trying not to worry or think about it too much.

biggest loser low impact workout
10 minutes stretch and tone

Not a lot of energy today. The low impact workout was tougher than I thought!
Every time I do something different like this, it really shows me how important it is to mix things up once in awhile. This type of workout is a lot different than an elliptical, treadmill or exercise bike.
My biopsy came back benign. What a huge relief! I was way more worried than I wanted to admit. I've had this mole on my shoulder forever, and it's always been too big, and had other signs that it could be something serious, but I figured since it had always been there, and not really changed that it was nothing to worry about. But it started to change-- so I thought it was time to get it checked out.

We are busy busy at home tearing up old flooring to lay some new hardwood. The husband is on vacation this week, so hopefully we will get a lot done!

I love Monday's at the gym. I don't go on the weekends, so I miss it, and am glad to go back.

I read some article this weekend about a lady who had lost weight. She said something like -- don't exercise and eat artificially, or something like that. I wish I could remember exactly how she put it. She meant to exercise in a way you can do for the rest of your life. I really liked how she put it -- I'll have to see if I can find it.
