Tom Cruise -- eeckk -- I'm proud to say he was making me sick, even before he went completely nuts. Isn't it ironic that Brooke Sheilds had her baby the very same day? I heard in the same hospital too. Hmm -- somehow I'm not thinking they are setting up any play dates for the girls! ( Brooke had a girl too)
I actually watched Idol last night. It was my night -- I love these songs. ( HATE Rod Stewart singing them though -- that ain't right -- it just ain't right! )
Chris was great -- singing one of my favorite songs ever!!!
I'm tired of Ace. He's sure is purty, but I don't enjoy listening to him sing. Not a fan of the falsetto either.
I have no idea who will go. I was annoyed with Ryan last night -- when people booed because Bucky left last week, he said " hey, don't boo, if you don't vote."
What's with that attitude? Someone has to go home. Why try and lay a guilt trip on people, because they are sad or disappointed that their favorite left? Like it's the fans' fault -- they didn't support him enough. Sheesh -- I think it was pretty much his time last week. Personally, I thought he did better than Ace, but I don't think either one of them had a shot at winning. He had to go sometime!
And, his constant digs at Simon are getting old too. He needs new material, if he wants to keep doing that. It annoys me too, how everyone boos, and gets all over Simon, when he says he doesn't like something. For goodness sake, that's what he's there to do! I will admit, sometimes I think his comments can be just hurtful, and not contructive in anyway, but he does give more contructive criticizms that the other 2 judges!
Wow -- guess I needed an AI rant.
Have a great day Carrie!

Love your new avatar Carrie -yep, AI was fun last night. I thought Kellie showed last night that she cannot sing the classics -she wasn't using enough diction and the words were all slurred and funny-sounding because of her accent. I loved Paris though, she was spot on. I agree with Muppet too, it's time for Ace's pretty face to give way to a singing competition.
I have the south beach pizzas sometimes -very addictive for sure. Yum, pizza we're allowed. Hope the sleep thing's getting easier. Usually it takes about a week to reset your sleep patterns. What metabolism pills are you taking? Sorry this is all random. So glad you're back.

Hi Carrie! I must say that I haven't been in here for a few days - I think the last time I was in here was when you said that you were no longer going to post in this forum. I'm glad to see that you have changed your way of thinking and that you are back with us. The message you posted when you came back in made me cry - you have the biggest heart of anyone I know. You have pushed yourself so much and it is good to see that you are seeing results. You are doing so good...keep it up. I really was upset that you weren't going to be in here anymore b/c you always put a on my face...you always know what to say when someone needs to hear encouragement and motivation. You are a great person and I am so happy that I have had the chance to meet you.
You mentioned that it was a huge coincidence that you ran into Mr Cutie...I don't believe in coincidences...I know that God has his reasons for everything - even running into a hottie! LOL I wish the best for you - and glad to hear that your feet are easing up on you.
Talk with ya later!

I will NOT go to sleep! I will NOT go to sleep! I am soooo exhausted. All I want is a nap! But passing out will continue to ruin my sleep schedule and weight loss efforts. If I can stick this out for a few more weeks, I think I will finally be able to sleep through the night. My problem times seem to be staying awake from 1230pm-4pm. After that, I seem to get a second wind. So that will explain the new amount of "sleepy" posts in the afternoon. There is a reason for all this meaningless drivel. I went for a half hour walk last night at 10pm since I waited too long to do my cardio. I ended up walking around my apt complex because the main road was too dark. I got to the back of it, and there was this huge thing crawling out of the dumpster that looked like a gigantic german shepard. I thought the fat burning pills were making me hallucinate. It wasnt a german shepard. It was a HUGE racoon and he had dinner in his mouth. We both spooked each other, but I didnt hang around long enough to see who was more freaked out. In my book, it was a draw.
Somebody asked me what pills I am on. They were recomended to me by a trainer. They are available at GNC and are called "Lipo6." I will let you know how they work after my 8 weeks are up. So far my weight hasnt really moved. I do however look less fatty. (I think). I am not up to a full day's dose yet. I should be by Friday. Hopefully then, my body will be up to speed and ready to get with the program.
Tried a thicker pair of socks with my shoes and my feet stayed put. Now the pressure is off my instep and general ankle area. I am determined to get through this and run consistently again.
Thanks again for all of the warm welcome backs. I think we all have our times when we need to take a step back and re-evaluate our lives. Going home wasnt all fun and games, but it did open my eyes a little more. I am now back on track and ready to take charge. Getting that supervisor position ment a lot to me, but I also realize that by not getting it; I have the time to devote to myself that I should have been utilizing all along. I know there are good things still in store for me. It is going to be a rocky road (not the ice cream!), but I am ready to face what is thrown in my way. If any of you need anything, please dont hesitate to let me know. PM's are always welcome. I will always make time for you guys, so ask away. If I dont have an answer, I will find one.
Woohoo! Brain fog and post lunch daze is beginning to lift. Gotta go to the grocery store again....I finally decide I want fish and they dont have the entree I want! Grrrr...I think I am going to eat fish four times a week. My body wont know what to do with all of it. I have always hated fish. Guess tastes do change from child to adult.
I am still having nightmares about Ace's hair from last night. He looked like he should be auditioning for a role on the show..."Growing up Gotti." I have a horrible feeling that Taylor is going tonight. The song he picked was awful. I used to listen to Rod Stewart quite a bit. But last night, the Idols did outsing him. His baby is cute though. He may go for younger women, however at least he has his head on straight unlike a certain "Mission Impossible" star. I wonder if the Scientologists think he has gone off the deep end? I feel sorry for Katie and the baby already. Tom is a brilliant actor and swordsman (The Last Samauri), but he is a complete nutcase. Only in Hollywood folks.
Have a great day!
~Carrie

I agree about Ace's hair. I thought the exact same thing --he looked like a mobster or something. A Mobstah, or a Gangstah---as my son would say!
Really hope it's not Taylor!
Katharine was good, but she's starting to bug me a little bit. I can't quite put my finger on it -- maybe she's just a litte too perfect. I don't know...
I'm hoping Ace is gone. Every time I've watched the results show -- he's been in the bottom 3. Granted -- I dont' watch every time -- but he's been in the bottom enough, that I think it's his turn to go. Even though his wasn't the worst performance of the night.

I am tempted to agree with you....In the past few weeks, Ace has relied on his face to stay on. But this week, he "owned" that song. I would be surprised if he went tonight. I dont think the Teenage Girls of America Club are ready to release him quite yet. Then again, I have a really bad feeling Elliott is going to get the boot tonight. I read that people were having a horrible time trying to get through to vote for him. I think the producers are trying to steer this competition in more ways than one. I am predicting the final two as Katherine and Chris. I am happy with 50% of that equation. Guess which side?

I have to say that I liked Ace's hair...although I think he is more model material then a musical performer. I could handle seeing him in some boxer underwear...LOL. I think someone needs to introduce him to Calvin Klein - wow...what an ad that would be. I have to say that I think that Kellie is getting the boot tonight - she did HORRIBLE! She even knew that she did horrible...if she stays then something is up with the voting. I really hope that it isn't Elliot - I really like his voice.

Carrie...what is your work schedule? Do you work days, evenings, or nights? I'm just trying to figure out why you are so tired through the day.

I am on the morning shift. So I am usually up between 4:30 and 5:30am. Rare occasions I am up at 3:45am for a 4:45am report. By the time I get home, I am zonked. I cant sleep through the night, that is the problem. When I do have to get up, I feel really foggy. But I will just re-train myself to not nap. Shouldnt be too bad after a few weeks.

Well...I hope that you can get on a good sleep schedule...I'm sure you are right - you will be better after a couple of weeks. It takes awhile for our bodies to get used to a set schedule. I know that when I become bored and need to get the little one down for a nap I like to lay down with her...especially when it is warm outside - windows open and the fan blowing - knocks me out every time.
