Ok so I am going to get my camera up and running and then take my pictures to Target and have them put on a cd so I can post them on the site. Very cheap and less hassle than a digital camera. They wont be pics of me though. Still not interested in looking at myself. I am hoping to have this all done tomorrow; assuming the weather cooperates.

My new wheels! Sorry the shot is soooo bad. But I am sure I will take more. I am by no means a professional!

I am soooo tired; but I cant sleep. So I am burning the midnight oil and having a Season 1 Top Chef marathon. Had fun taking pictures yesterday but most of them came out horrible. Taking pictures of pictures doesnt work well...so I am going to take the actual pictures to Target and get them scanned for like 35 cents each. MUCH cheaper than going to Kinkos and paying for computer time. I dont know how they stay in business with their ridiculous prices. Anyone have any suggestions for a burned tongue? I fried mine last night and it still hurts. Kept bumping into the security guard yesterday at Target and he kept looking/smiling at me. (Ok he was kinda cute.) I had my hair done; but I was dressed way down. It was fun driving around in my car; but I am still sooo paranoid. PEOPLE CANT DRIVE!! The sound system in the car is incredible...great for soundtracks, concert cds, and workout music. I feel like the guy in the old Magnavox commercials sitting in the chair with my hair blowing backwards. Another added plus is I dont have to hear the engine or other annoying street noise. I think that there is also a certain amount of driver respect that comes with this newer car. People who would have normally not let me out, or go first at a stop now wave me on. Didnt know there was that kind of acceptance on the road. I still miss my Jetta. It is going to be wholesaled. How can you possibly say goodbye to an old friend? OK I am rambling on about nothing so I guess it is back to Top Chef and the catered wedding. Have a great weekend all!
~Carrie

Thanks for the compliment on my picture. I'm just waiting for that one day I can look in the mirror and say "wow I look good" without having to hear it from someone else.
I'm glad you are enjoying your new car. I have only owned one car in my lifetime and since it was my first car I know I'm going to be upset when I have to get a new one.

Ok, all caught up on TC now. Cliff was a boob wasn't he? And, I felt bad for Elia, because she was appointed leader, after they already had their plan. Or did I miss something.... Seemed to me like Cliff was the leader, and then they appointed Elia half was through. Although, I do think she supported and was a big part of their idea.... I wasn't quite sure why they threw her into that 'leader' position.
What do you think? Were they definitely sending Elia home? It looked like that was what she was about to say, but I guess you can never be sure. I thought Mia's fit was ridiculous. And, sorry to be an old fuddy duddy, but I can't stand the way the 'f' word is thrown around anymore. I know my son says it all the time-- he says "it's just a word Mom'... but I still won't tolerate it. Ok -- it is just a word, but why is it necessary to say it all the time?
I know Mia was mad, and I can let some foul language fly too, when upset, but man -- bleep this, and bleep that... almost thought I was watching Jerry Springer for awhile!
And, Elia did mess up, trying to cook during the party. I'm sure you need to do some cooking, but they obviously did not have enough ready to go.....
Ok -- TC talk all done now. Can't wait for the next episode!

I have been up since around 3am and I am zonked. That is what having 2 days off will do for me. Didnt get much done; but I did make an effort to start. Got more pics scanned for my Weighins page. Only had to pay $3.99 for the Kodak cd. How cool was that?? MUCH better than dealing with (and paying for) a digital camera.
Watched 2 movies today..."Taladega Nights" (Oh is Sasha Baron Cohen HOT when he isnt Borat or Ali G); and "You, Me, and Dupree." Both were good.
I think I am going to vaccum out my car and dust it tomorrow. I cant stand car dust. Drives me insane. Gotta make myself get to the gym tomorrow and get back into my routine again. I am sooo disgusted with myself right now I cant even think straight. The whole time my father was here all I heard about was Poppi and everyone else. Enough with the pressure already. Bought an 8 lb medicine ball at Target yesterday. I am sure that will cause some serious abdominal pain. Enough is enough. I have no idea what I weigh and I really dont want to know until I know I can get on the scale and not wig out. That should be a while from now.

Feeling really depressed right now; so I am not saying much in my journal entries. I would lose the new car in a nano-second if I could just have my best friend back in my life again. He was so excited about my new car...those were his words. But I havent heard from him since last month via email. But all I can do is wait.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling too good Carrie. I'm really feeling the stress, too...completely different type but it is stress. I am REALLY missing Dan right now...he will be home on Friday (as long as the weather is okay).

I enjoyed 'taladega nights', but I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I don't know-- just thought it would be 'more' something..... Have not seen 'You , Me and Dupree', but will either on PPV, or renting it. Another one I'd like to see is 'the Break-up', even though most said it wasn't very good. My son saw Borat, and loved it. He can imitate him perfectly. Actually, he can imitate pretty much anyone....but I feel like I've seen it, because he's already told me so much about it.
Sorry you're feeling down. I hope things start looking up for you soon. Love your car! Zoom Zoom......
