~Missy in October~
It's hard to believe it's already October, seems like the summer just flew by this year. This is my favourite time of year though because all the leaves change colour and it looks so pretty. It's also the perfect weather most of the time..not too hot and not too cold. I think that's why when we picked our wedding date, we wanted October. There's just a little over a year to go until my wedding and I'm super excited. We've been putting a lot of money away in our savings account, because I'm trying not to have any debts when the day is over
Had a pretty good workout today. We did shoulders, triceps and abs today. Spent 40 minutes doing cardio and burned about 415 cals today.
They are bringing in breakfast for us at work tomorrow, so I'm going to watch what I pick. I heard they are bringing in muffins, bagels, fresh fruit and cheese & crackers or something...so at least it's not all bad.
Not much else is new. I'm going home to my parents place next weekend for Thanksgiving. My mom always makes the best food. Matt's going his seperate way to Windsor to see his parents next weekend too. He hasn't seen them in about 4 months.

I also love fall. It's so pretty going for walks in the river valley.

Just got back from the gym, had a pretty good workout today. We did back, traps and calves. Shocked myself today to see that I could do 45 pound plates on both sides of the traps machine. I've definately improved my strength over the last little while.
Spent 40 min doing cardio today and burned 420 cals on that alone.
They had a 2 for 1 deal on at the Booster Juice place today, so we both got one of their high protein smoothies...mine had 30g of protein in it...and it's super yummy!!
The work breakfast went better than I thought it would. I ended up having an apple muffin, some watermelon & a few strawberries and then one piece of marble cheese with some apple juice.
Off to make my lunch for work tomorrow and then relax watching tonight's episode of TBL.

I had a pretty good Thanksgiving. My mom made the best dinners! I say dinners because I spent the whole weekend there. Needless to say, I cheated *LOL* Anyways, Saturday she made a ham, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw and had cherry pie. Sunday we had the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn and apple pie. It was delicious though. We spent a lot of the weekend outdoors since the weather was so nice...had a campfire.
I also washed and vacuumed my car out...and helped my parents rake the leaves since they have a huge yard...so I burned off some cals there.
I'm going to be by myself until Thursday night...Matt went to Windsor on Friday to his parents....and then his grandpa died early Sunday morning, so now he has to stay there until the funeral on Thursday and be a pallbearer.
I have lots of things to keep me busy though...I work most of the day anyways and then spend about 2 hours at the gym every night, so it will go by fast.
Anyways, I guess I should go make supper and head to the gym. I need to be done in time so I can watch TBL tonight.

Missy, I'm so sorry to hear about Matt's grandpa. Please give him best wishes from all of us here on the forum.
I'm glad you had such a nice weekend with your parents. I love getting outside in the fall for raking leaves and campfires and stuff!

Haven't posted in awhile. Matt came back last night, so I was pretty happy to see him. We got off work early today because we didn't have that much work come in this week...so we were told we could take the afternoon off if we wanted as vacation. Since we were both exhausted, we decided we would, so we left at 11:30am.
It was our 6 year anniversary yesterday too and he brought me some red roses. We might go out for dinner sometime this weekend too, depends how we feel.
I have an appointment on Monday to see a Naturopath...I have had a horrible rash the last little while all over my body and I have no idea what's causing it. I haven't changed soap or detergent or anything and I can't recall changing my food to anything new. Apparently they can do an allergy test to see if it's from foods or anything else. I hope they can find something to help me because it's really bad. At first I just thought it was eczema because I've had problems with it my whole life....but now when I look at it closer, there are tiny white bumps...and the rash is everywhere. All over my arms and legs...my upper chest, my stomach...it's horrible.
Not really doing much this weekend. Probably catching up on some chores and watching some movies...maybe going to dinner.

Sorry to hear about the rash, Missy! I hope it's something simple that can be treated and that will go away quickly. Have a great weekend.

Haven't posted in awhile, not a whole lot of stuff going on. My fiance and I are going to look at a used treadmill tonight. It's apparently in excellent condition and has only been used lightly. It's got everything we're looking for...incline, speed, cals burned, distance etc...we saw the ad posted on the net and we are going to her house in an hour or so. I'm super excited!!! They are asking a good price for it too, so we're very happy.
This weekend we are going to stop by the parks again to see what they look like this time of year (for our wedding pictures next year). We saw them this summer, but I want to see if there are still flowers and nice scenery going on now that it's fall.
Then tomorrow night, we are going out to a bar for a friends birthday. I don't drink very often, so I plan to just have fun.
