The October Road to Success

I'm trying to get back into the habit of working out in the morning so with that in mind I had an earlyish night and got up with time to go to the gym. I did just over 1 hour workout, resistance training for my legs and 20 mins cross trainer for cardio. All in burned 748 Calories

Cardio Day yesterdayday. Had to go to the airport this morning so did my workout in the evening.

5 minutes warm up
3.2km (2 mile) run 19 mins 15 seconds
2000m rowing in 9mins 12s
10 minutes bike
5 mins cool down and stretching

about 950 calories burned

I've entered a rowing competition for Oct 20th. 2000m so will be practicing that.

Was lazy on Wednesday and Thursday but got into the gym this morning and did my day 2 weights (chest, biceps shoulders) and 20 mins cross trainer. about 900 calories (i forgot to set my watch going for the 1st 5 mins doh)

I sat my level3 fitness instructor exam last Saturday and I passed with 80%, I got the results this morning. I'm very VERY please. I'm qualified to give specialist courses to diebetics, asthmatics and lots of other spcialist cases.

Make sure you let us know how the rowing comp goes! That's one of my favorite ways to workout and it's always an all around great sweat fest.

Busy day today. Got my haircut, then to the gym for just over 1 hour session weights and cardio. Burned 930 calories then off to the pub to watch England squeeze past Australia in Rugby.

Rowing practice I did 2500meters on 10m 50s

Seems I've had issues with my pc at home, had to re install everything but i can't log onto the site from home. My journal for the last few days:

Saturday
The last week kinda conspired against me doing a workout so as I was almost to the end of my last program I knocked it on the head and drew up a new program. For the next 8 weeks I'm doing a high intensity program. 4 days of 10mins weights, 10 mins abs then 20 mins cardio. Heavy weights in single long sets.

Monday
This high intensity stuff feels wierd. All the weights over in just 10 mins yet I really feel like I've done a full length weights session. Lets see what the results are like after a few weeks.

So Today I went and did my workout this morning before work. 756 calories burned.

Crazy week last week but worked out as much as I could. Saturday I took a new cl**** tae bo which is an aerobics class using martial arts moves. good but a bit different to what I was expecting.

Seem to be maitaining my weight at 90KG right now.

Did a full on workout this morning. warm up, 10 mins weights, 10 mins abs, 30 mins cardio and cool down + stretching. about 760 calories burned.

Sorry I've been really busy and forgot to post. had a good week and think I did well. maintained my weight again (no surprise there). Got my family visiting this week from England
