August Journal of MaltesePhil
Not a lot to report so far this month. Yesterday, Aug 1st I did a cardio workout and burned off 1102 calories. I'm not training today, taking a rest day. Not long to my exam and I may well be qualified as a fitness instructor

So, it was my fitness instructor exam last night and I'm fairly confident that I did well. I find out on Friday if I passed and also the plan for level3.
I did my day 1 weights today and got a bit pissed off with myself. last time I did bench press at 110 , 110 , 120 lbs but today i tried 110 120 120, after 110 i put the next set of weights on, and could not lift the bar. I had to drop it back down to the saftey rail, take all the weights off and reset. I've no idea why i lost all strenght but ended up doing 110 , 90 , 90 which is not where i wated to be. Still, I'm managing to do close grip chin ups without assistance so i was happy about that

Good job on the chin ups Phil! Don't fret too much about the decline in weight. Be proud of the accompishments and try again next time!
Can't wait to hear how the exam went.

I went back to day one today and did better with the bench press. Started a bit lower but worked up to the last set at 120.
Did oke but wasn't able to get my hear rate up. As its saturday i did a bit of cardio afterwards but still only managed a 980 calorie burn in 1 hour 40 mins.
