Matt and I are going out tonight to some bars to celebrate my friend Shawn's 31st birthday. We don't drink all that often, so tonight is going to be special. It's the first time we've been to a bar in over a year and 1/2. I'm planning on getting some exercise in while I'm there though....dancing!! A lot of my girlfriends will be there, and we all like to dance, so I'm sure we'll have a blast tonight.

We don't have a whole lot else planned for the weekend, just the usual laundry and cleaning. If the weather is nice I plan to get some jogging in again. I really liked it when we went the other night.

Today's Food-
Breakfast: 1 small bowl granola cereal, 1 piece flax toast, 1/2 banana
Snack: turkey bite, 1/2 flax bagel w/light cream cheese
Lunch: Salad, chicken soup and a green apple
Snack: 1 large tangerine, 13 mini rice cakes
Supper: home-made whole wheat pizza w/ red & green peppers, mushrooms and turkey sausage...hot sauce
Snack: rice cakes and alcohol (pre-drinking) hehe..shhh

Wow, I can really see the tumbleweed rolling through these boards lately. Where is everyone??? I come here everyday to check for new posts, but no one's ever around! I don't feel like posting to my journal then because there's no one to read it haha.

Anyways, things are going pretty good with me. I'm still grabbing up overtime at work and have managed to put about $1000 away for the wedding so far in just a few months. Anytime they offer overtime, Matt always signs up as well so we have the extra bit to help out.

We had a cultural day at work today and people were supposed to bring in different foods and snacks to try. What a bad idea! HAH! I wanted to try everything because I like trying new things and I've never really had a lot of different foods from other cultures before. I only took a little bit of each though to nibble on...so hopefully I don't pay for it.

I'm still doing pretty good with my workouts too, been managing to go jogging Tuesdays and Thursdays for 1/2 an hour. I'm pretty excited about the fact that I can run better than I used to. Mon, Wed & Fri I am still at the gym doing weights. I'm trying to keep on track even though my motivation isn't exactly top notch right now.

I've been following Hell's Kitchen too and I'm really happy they kicked that cocky guy off that thought he was the best chef there, he was very irritating.

Anyhoo...I'm off, hope everyone is well.

How are your feet? Did you ever see a Dr. about them?
Must not be too bad if you're jogging. I would love to try it again -- I used to about 100 years ago-- but I think I'll end up doing more damage than good. What started my foot problem last year was after I did Jillian's high impact front and back videos. I liked them -- they were intense, but pretty short. But that was when my feet started to hurt, and of course when it started, I kept on doing them. I guess I thought they would get used to it or something. But I don't ever want to go through that again -- or anything like it. So I'm being cautious about what I do.
