Journal for all

Hey Everyone, I just thought you might like a place where you can keep track of how you are doing daily. You can use this as a food journal or an exercise journal or both

Journal

I keep my journal in a regular spiral notebook. I thought about keeping it online but decided against it right now. I like the spiral because I can take it with me and write in it whenever I want to. I also enjoy going back and reading what I previously wrote. It is motivating to see when I achieved goals. It is also reassuring when I look back at my down moments and how I was able to push past them and succeed. That way when I am feeling down again, I have the proof that I can succeed again.

Oh I just saw a portion from Susie's journal. Now I see how it is filed and kept online. I think that is cool too. I might just have to transcribe some of mine to keep online at the same time. I think it is neat to be able to share it with others! Is there a way to create a file on the forum for all of our yummy recipes? How do I do it?

Journal

I think keeping a journal is important as one is changing their lifestyle so they can see where things go wrong and where things go right. I have started my journal - started on 2/1/06. I have always enjoyed writing - this gives me a chance to see how I felt through the day.

Consolidating

Thanks, I have started little notebooks and spreadsheets on my pc and all sorts of attempts. Maybe this will work better since I work in front of a computer. I'll go start one now.

I got a spiral notebook hoping to jot down info as the day goes by - but I forget about it. I will be keeping track of my weight and measurements in this journal - once a week.
