How often do you weigh yourself? I am starting to weigh myself weekly - I never used to get on a scale ...as a matter of fact I don't own one. I am not buying one b/c I know if it is at my house then I will live on it...I'm not going to do that. I weigh in each week at my doc's office...they know I'm working on my weight. NO CHARGE! Good job on the 1/2 pound - every little bit helps! How well do you like your elliptical? I want one so bad.

I love the eliptical, but I don't own one. I just use the ones they have at the gym I am a member of.
I tend to weigh myself everyday just because I am curious to see if my work with the trainer is paying off. It satifies me to know I am paying him for my results. I know I probably shouldn't weigh myself so much....I just can't help it! lol

I am going to my parents this weekend for my dad's 50th birthday and it's going to be really hard to keep away from all the goodies my mom makes. Hopefully I don't give in to the temptations and I hope I stay on track.
Weigh in: 249 exact...another 0.5 pounds gone
Medication: 10mg

Way to go Missy. Keep up the good work. I also weigh in everyday, it helps me stay motivated. But I do my offical weigh in on Mondays (helps me stay on track over the dreaded weekend) on a different scale. That is the weight I record in my Weight watchers tracker.

I am also a compulsive weigher! I NEED to see the progress day to day to stay motivated. I am in a weightloss competition at my school (their scale weighs me at @ 5 lbs heavier and it is the one I am using to record my weight loss here.) Wow, an hour on the elliptical, go girl! I did an hour on the treadmill today, but I seriously doubt I could do that much on an elliptical, especially at 10!

Oh wow
'Scuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor....
You did an hour on the eliptical?? On level 10???? That is so awesome!! How long did it take you to build up the endurance? Keep that up and you will be at goal in no time!!

Wow an hour on the ellipital - That is awesome!! I have never been on one so I don't know what it's like, but my hubby is talking about wanting to buy one once he loses enough weight.
I am a compulsive weigher too. I stop on the scal everyday just to see the good or the bad for my Monday morning "official" weigh in. I know my body fluctuates all the time in weight, but it doesn't stop me from stepping on the scale
