Who took the wagon????
Wow did I fall off the weigh loss wagon... hit the ground hard and boy did it hurt.
Life has been sooooooo crazy that eating right and exercising have been the lowest priority on my list.
One of the girls on our team was fired out of the blue - none of saw it coming. We are guessing she may have and just didn't let on. So we are all watching out Ps and Qs closely and working A LOT of extra hours. I am working a minimum of 10 hours a day. (Too bad I'm salary and don't get paid overtime)
We work through lunch and am so tired by the time I get home we end up getting carryout. DH has been busy with his new job so he is in the same boat.
I got dressed this morning and clothes aren't fitting well at all. I stepped on the scale (which I haven't done for a couple of weeks) and I have gained back every pound that I lost.
So if someone could steer the weightloss wagon back my way I'm ready to hot on again.... Actually I could really use the exercise... maybe I'll just attach a rope and run behind

Oh Nicky, I'm sorry things are so rough right now.
Don't worry, you can start all over when you're ready, it's never too late. Just remember you can get some carry out that's not too bad. Of course it's better to cook your dinners at home that way you know exactly what's in it but if you have to get carry out just make wise decisions. Stick with chicken, salads with dressing on the side, subway sandwiches, things like that.
I'm pushing the wagon back over to you right now, come on...jump on!!!!

Sounds like you took a page out of my life, Nicky! It's so hard to stay on top of things all the time. So easy to let things slide, and that weight seems like it sneaks up over night!
For me, the hardest thing is getting back 'on the wagon' . The longer I stay off, the harder it is. That's where I think this site helps me. I have been stuck in neutral for awhile now. But I stopped gaining. I haven't gone completely back to my old ways. I'm hoping I will start losing again soon, but right now, I'm just glad I stopped gaining. My clothes still fit ok. Some could be better, but I haven't had to resort to my biggest pair of pants! A small victory, but a victory, none the less. Other times, when I have fallen off the wagon, I have fallen so hard, and could never get back on. I usually ended up needing even bigger pants, than my biggest size. Depressing!!
So, you have no choice Nicky. You don't want to slide any farther backwards. You can do it. Focus-- stay the course! We all right here with you!!!

Thanks everyone. I went shopping Saturday... to buy a new Easter dress since the one I initially bought (with the expectation in myself of losing the couple of inches to fit into it) didn't fit. I bought a couple new shirts and 2 new dresses (since I found an awesome sale where the dresses were buy one for $55 get the 2nd for a $1!). I bought some new strappy cute shoes (which I have never owned in my life). I then went and got my hair cut and colored and my nails done. Sunday morning when I put on my dress and make up I felt beautiful. That was just what I needed. To feel beautiful at over 300 pounds. So now my goal is to be able to wear my 1st easter dress that I bought by my birthday. My birthday is in July so I have plenty of time. Thanks again!
I love this site. I don't post often but I am on here almost everyday reading.
My plan this morning was to start my day with the Biggest Loser workout, but unfortunately I started my day wit back spasms instead.

Hi!
It is never too late to catch the bandwagon. In fact, it is one of the few things in life you have complete control over. Make a promise to yourself that you will make "YOU" a priority from now on. No matter how hectic your life becomes, you will not let yourself down. Take a step back and remind yourself what your hopes and dreams are. Then form a plan of attack to make those dreams a reality. At this point, I dont think anything is out of your reach. I honestly believe that you are a strong woman, and that you can not only catch the bandwagon you thought you fell off of; but you can also STEER that same wagon. It took me forever to realize that my body and my weight are two of the few variables in my life that I do have complete control over what happens to them. Take that control back and make your destiny your own. I know that you can do it. Think back to a time when you were really gung ho about working out and eating right...that may be all it takes to get you off and running again. And I am glad to hear that you channeled your inner diva and got a mini makeover. There is no piece of chocolate cake or pepperoni pizza that tastes better than a makeover and a new outfit feels!!

With all these great people on the wagon holding their hands out to you its easier to get back on. I did a mini make over last week on myself, made myself presentable, put on my best suit and I look pretty darn good. I felt a lot better.
